NFL rules dictate that alternate uniforms can only be worn twice per season. This is due to a licensing agreement with Reebok; most of their profit comes from the traditional primary and away jerseys, as alternate jerseys have a niche market and, as such, are only produced in certain quantities at a time.

I think this is good timing... playing a team we SHOULD and NEED to beat before we have to go to the burgh next week.. its easy to look past these kinds of games, but every week is important from here on out.

speaking from personal experience, there's just something about wearing a black alternate that gets you going... we only wore them once or twice a year in high school, but a coach once told me... "If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good." Now, ovbiously, his grammar isn't great, but you get the point. I can't wait to see them come out of the tunnel on Sunday with a little fire and excitement.

Something as subtle as a jersey change might be all we need to actually start fast for a change. Let's see what happens.

The AFL throwbacks must have been an exception this year. I think Denver and NE wore them at least 3 or 4 times.

It looks like they're trying to avoid the worst of the weather by switching the game time. >.< Now, I won't be able to see the game...

That reminds me of something. The playoffs this year are going to be very fairweather. Minnesota, Indy, NO, and Arizona all play in domes and San Diego is San Diego. If Dallas can overtake Philly, which is unlikely at best, there's a chance that every single NFC playoff game could be played in a dome. It should be smooth sailing for the soft teams.
