i MUST say i like this kid, i followed him in college. for those who dont know him, Hes one of our CB's who has been playing special teams for us since GB. hes the one who is always down the field to make the tackle.
HES 6'3 and fast!!!!
when i followed him in college he was a shutdown corner. i think he should get an opportunity to play at slot corner maybe sometimes the outside like when webb goes into the slot on 3rd down. does any1 else think the same, cuz i know for a fact he is alot better than walker and carr..

i like foxworth and webb on the outside but i feel bad for em since MOST QB'S are having all day to throw the ball with the inconsistent pass rush we have. i blame this all on MATTISON!! scheming is terrible. but anyway I believe he should get the opportunity, does any1 else think so?

Screw fixing the CBs fix the pass rush. Foxworth shut down Brandon Marshall when they had a pass rush.

finally someone who udnerstands where im coming from. foxworth is good. but exactly we cant have a quarterback have all day to throw the ball. foxowrth played well on marshall driver, jennings, wayne, all the good no.1 recievers, the only one he hasnt done well against is vincent jackson.

but we need to upgrade over carr and walker. and i think when we get fabian washington back hopefully.. and then we have cary williams.

Is Cary Williams really 6'3" because every site has him listed as 6'1". I like him so far. He was good in college and flies to the ball on Special Teams. I always see the #29 jersey on kickoff return. He seems to have filled into Derrick Martin's role as a ST standout, but I hope his cover skills are as good as his tackling skills.

Unless both Carr and Walker go down, Cary Williams won't get any playing time as a corner. I'm still not a fan but Carr has definitely improved in the past few weeks.

Hes def been impressive as a gunner that much is certain. Its tough to say how he'd be at corner because he's been on and off the Titans PS for the past what 3 years. Its not like the Titans have great nickel or dime backs.

Either Foxxy is really good and everytime he plays, its on wet grass with shoelaces untied wearing a shoe 3 sizes too big, or he just plain cant turn the corner and gets burned. Lets face it, he can handle mid-short routes with medium sized WR's coming at him when he has help but other than that he makes mediocre WR's look like Andre Johnson. What bothers me the most about him is his tackling ability, and lack of motivation. He flat out gave up on the long pass from Palmer in the first cincy game. Its a good thing there was a flag it would have been 6 points. A great pass-rush can make almost any CB look good, but its up the the CB to make himself look good without it...

If we are out of the playoff hunt by week 17, sure lets throw them all out there to see what they got. But Webb has been playing well, I cant imagine him as a starter right now to replace Foxworth, and Carr is sucking less each week. Maybe we can throw him out there in Frank Walker's spot...

This thread is now about Ray Lewis singing the national anthem to the right side of your monitor.

Fail.

Back on topic, this thread is the first I've heard of him. I don't see why they wouldn't give him a chance.

Honestly, if he's a special teamer nobody has even heard about then you can pretty much guarantee he has no ball skills.

Bring in K.J, who cares about his measurables? the guy has a nose for the ball.
