Difference Between Replica And Premier Jerseys?

14 posts in this topic

i dont live in the US and want to buy a Reed jersey from NFL shop. so i ask myself whats the difference between replica and premier jerseys? and why are authentic jerseys that expensive?

I live in europe so im trying to get the best info possible about this so i dont have to send the jersey back to the US and then everything gets complicated.

last question: which jersey would you recommend me, replica or premier? i dont want to buy authentic cause its very very expensive

Different build material, different sleeves, sewn on patches on sleeves v.s. screen print, different fit, different weight.

replica is basically not real. I get the premier jerseys. they have the sewn on numbers, names and everything, its the exact thing they wear on the field.

Also, the color is slightly different (in regards to the home jerseys). Replicas are more of a medium shade of purple, while the premier jerseys are the correct, amethyst color (it's closer to a blue shade of purple than the replicas). I have an authentic Reed jersey, and I love it. Although I feel like I could take a bullet to those numbers and survive.

no the premiers only have sewn on numbers and name. The shield logo and the reebok logo are still screenprinted. And the premiers are a lot more light weight than the authentics.

Yes, the authentic jersey is what you really want.... although it'll cost you an arm and a leg to buy one, unless you know someone who can get them for you cheap.

save money and go with the replica, its close enough to being the real thing

you can get fake authentics cheaper than real replicas...thats kind of confusing, lol.

ehh If I were you, I'd just buy a custom T-shirt with a number and name on the back. I'm not big on the whole jersey thing.

edit: whole lot cheaper
