Did it ever occur to you that they were cheering for the Packers because they were playing the Ravens? I was watching the game last night and I cheered every single time the Packers scored. A Ravens fan turned to me and told me the Packers sucked and my response was I don't really care if they do or not.. I just want them to win tonight.

As far as the "true fan" thing eh.. to each their own on that one.

You're a fan for showing up there in the first place!! It's not your fault the bar allowed in so many losers and doesn't provide great Ravens fans such as yourself a good place to watch the game.

I remember I was at a local bar in Annapolis, MD a few years back with a friend to watch the Ravens play the Chargers in 2006. We were the only Ravens fans in the entire place - ridiculous! There were several obnoxious chargers fans. I couldn't even enjoy myself with these morons being so belligerent. I feel I should be allowed to watch my team play at home without being being harassed as if I'm the outsider. If I stayed any longer I would have started something because I was already getting into it with one of them. We already paid our check so at halftime we left! My buddy and I went over his dad's place a few minutes away where he greeted us in a Heap jersey and a fridge full of ice cold beer. The Ravens came back to win with a TD pass from "Air" McNair to Todd Heap to win 16-13 in one of the best 4th quarter victories in Ravens history! I definitely would not have enjoyed myself as much if I stayed!

If it makes you feel any better, I have to go to Frederick, MD to watch Ravens road games at a bar called Beef O' Bradys. There are a good contingent of Ravens fans, but mostly fans of other teams. Ravens Roost 43 has a Jersey raffle and a 50-50 raffle at halftime. This is about a 30 mile schlep, but that's what you have to do to be around Ravens fans.
