Money Plays Madden

18 posts in this topic

I’m looking for money plays…..I have enough to share as well....I’m looking for offense and defense plays mostly. If you want to know something that will put you on a win streak that beats the unbeatable then let’s talk….Just a few things that can help you out when you need to use these plays.

Example, Blocking Kickoff’s (that result in you getting the ball on their 30 yard line) Field Goal Blocks (take away every extra point and 3 point try’s) Zone Blitz (that will only allow them 2-3 yards if they get it off but most times int) WildCat offense play that gives you 5 yards at least unless they play the only play that always stops the wildcat no matter if you throw or run. I have offense plays that beat zone and man that will get you 12-15 yards every time.

Money plays vary from person-to-person depending on playing style; what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for the other.

For instance, some of my money plays involve going to the outside post after a receiver is motioned and covered by a linebacker; I work those routes to perfection, but my best friend can't make those throws to save his life, even using the same team and play.

I won't reveal specifics, but I make liberal use of the hot routes and only change one or two routes on-the-go, I use a lot of motion to check out coverages if I have time on the play clock, and my RB isn't necessarily my checkdown contrary to popular belief -- I sometimes adjust routes so that my RB is my primary since there'll be a pocket for him to get open if I draw coverages another way.

I share nothing about my defense other than I use a lot of zone coverage and zone blitzing, and I create my own blitzes on-the-fly. Some people can't figure out what I'm doing, but it's pretty simple; it just requires athletic D-linemen to compensate for any 'backers that rush.

Yes, blocking the kickoff is a glitch and I only use if they start to glitch. I did say use when you have to....But the top 100 people in madden have money plays. Money plays work for anyone and everyone if ran correctly.

<MOD NOTE: Keep the personal attacks out of it>

Yea I loose but I never quit and always play hard

I usually have a WR run a drag route, they're always open if things break down

Strong Tight formation - HB Toss, motion the receiver towards your TE to bring in the CB if he's in man coverage. It's my favourite run play and it works pretty good to get outside and get your blockers in front of you.

I rarely run a single back formation if I'm not in shotgun. When I'm running, I like having a lead blocker.
I do, but mostly just for the sake of using all the formations. It's better to set up plays for later should you need them.

When I'm running the singleback formation, I always motion a guy before the play, either to serve as a lead blocker or to give the impression that I'm running.

lmao. That's funny.

I have a few bread & butter plays, but I'm not sharing. As Franny said, they are probably unique to me anyway. Madden09 took with it some great passing plays I used when I got backed up on 1st and 2nd down, but aside from that I'll come out vanilla and adjust accordingly (on both sides).

Thats one of my 3 money plays. I run a four wr set with the bills playbook, you can run a pa slot cross, then a run up the gut, and a hb screen. It will leave your opp. Guessing everytime you run it. Bad thing is itll also force them to cheat.

I returned a kickoff in the Superbowl, down by 4, with exactly :01 second left. No joke. I'll try to upload it to the EA website. That's money if I have even seen it.

I have '09.
On the offense I just run my little 3 WR I formation because they can't tell whether it'll be a run or a pass.
On defense I do a lot of zone coverage and zone blitzes (like someone else said) and to disguise the blitzes... one thing I LOVE doing is making my own little organized chaos by button mashing the LB and DL shifting buttons. Sounds stupid yes but some of my opponents have admitted to some confusion when I do it. PLUS it's actually quite fun. Play like a Raven, right?

I've used to ravens for about 450 of my 500 or so madden 10 matches. Other 50 i've been using the vikings. Go Ej and Erin!! Anywho, I use the Ten Off PB and NYJ Def PB.

Here's a good money play:
Singleback twin TE 2wr on left side. PA Boot.. the one with the slot doing a post corner. Hot Route the right TE to block. After the PA, Left Trigger pass to B receiver, usually 15-20 yards a pop.

Defense:

3-4 Over Sting pinch Zone

Take gooden or whoever your weak side ILB is and place him over center and re-blitz. Watch the fun!
