Don't Kill Me For Just This Idea. Not Saying You Have To Like It

IF we could still trade. T.O. Has been really good with his behavior in buffalo and if worse comes to worse we could get rid of him but it wouldn't take much to get him from the bills. He'd be an excellent reciever for us. I think he could help us A LOT! But I want your input what do you think? I know he brings a lot of potential baggage. But worse comes to worse you gave it a shot. I really dont think he would get mouthy like that in a town like Baltimore with people like Ed Reed and Ray Lewis around. I think that he wouldn't act up like he has in recent years. What do you think? Be a great addition for Flacco. Opens up the long pass game more.

Well we cant trade anymore, so we'd have to wait for next season when he hits FA.

Wow. Completley forgot about that haha. But if we could. Would you?

I disagree

1) he's been out of sight in Buffalo because he has been putting up dismal #'s until just recently, and he always behaves himself for the first year, 2nd + year he rips the team apart

2) we already made an attempt at a trade for him... he didn't want to come here, so he got sent to philly, why would we want someone who didn't want us?

I disagree that Owens won't mouth off because Ray and Ed are here. For one, T.O. is older than both of them and he had no problem mouthing off when he was in Philly and there several leaders on that team as well.

However, I would still like to see him become a Raven. I doubt it'll happen but those who said he was done as a player were proven wrong at least up until this past week. He can't separate from elite corners like Darrelle Revis anymore but he can definitely still moves the chains and wreak havoc after the catch.

Im saying I think he'd rather be in Baltimore where he has a chance at the playoffs and the superbowl then in buffalo losing every game. No wonder his numbers are bad. His team sucks.

In fairness to T.O. would YOU have wanted to play with Kyle Boller if you had the opportunity to play with Donovan McNabb?

Now that we have legit QB, T.O. would probably thrive here...

exactly and mark clayton is pretty good dont get me wrong. But i am still so mad at him for dropping that ball against new england. I gaurntee you t.o catches that ball..... And yeah he still has great ability to get open. Chad Ochocinco (johnson) is one of the key reasons the bengals are where they are. He tears are secondary apart. I mean lets not forget this is one of the first years where palmer hasn't been hurt aswell. But if we had someone like Chad.I think were a 1 loss maybe 2 loss team at best. But shoot if we had Matt Stover we'd still only have about 1 or 2 losses haha. Its funny how much a kicker can hurt you.

T.O.'s age is getting up there, not sure how much he has left in the tank to produce week in and week out. I would look at Mike Sims-Walker, Brandon Marshall or even Anquan Boldin before a TO.

TO is in buffalo because no other team wanted him. He has talent for sure, but everywhere he's been he's divided the locker room. I'd prefer him to stay away.

and what about the fact of when we made the trade for him from SF and he turned us down? I'm sorry I understand the want/need for a WR, but get someone who is young, who isn't going to tear the team apart, and who isn't in our bad graces

well if he had patience the following year or year after that didn't we go 13-3 with an awesome offense?

That wouldn't be a very good sign if he was dogging it.

And even when he was in the middle of play-off pushes in Dallas, he dropped balls.

if T.O is on the team that ball never has a chance to be caught, you know why? because Mark Clayton got us down field on 4th down a few times on that drive.. T.O drops a ball way earlier.. we are all just mad at Clayton because it was so close to the endzone

Just to comment again on the point about Ray Lewis and Ed Reed keeping T.O. in line -- why does everyone assume that Ray Lewis can convince everyone to walk the straight-and-narrow? These players are grown men (even if they don't always act like it) and Ray's word is not law. Just because Ray is the Godfather of the NFL doesn't mean that every player listens every single time.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Or, you can make it drink, but it'd just as soon drown itself than know better to get its head out, in some cases. -_-

Exactly. There are leaders in every NFL locker but that doesn't stop various players from embarrassing themselves.

Exactly. There is definitely leadership in Dallas but T.O. still sent a hurricane through that locker room.

You got that right!I,also wouldn't want T.O. anywhere near Joe Flacco. The dude is a quarterback's worst nightmare.Anything he's got to say is best said to a mirror!

No way!He don't have what it takes to be a Raven! He's a locker room cancer and the circus that follows him around is not what we need! Our focus must be on the games, not wasted answering questions about him.
