Steelers Lose!

92 posts in this topic

Please don't be afraid of Oakland when every team we play from here on out (except detriot) is better than them. The way i see it is that if the Ravens lose to them and are knocked out of the playoffs because of it, then they don't deserve the playoffs anyway.

If I remember, it was a rookie who came in for Gay who went down with an injury. But yeah, C'MON MAN! or maybe, THANKS BUD! Way to help the Ravens. :229031_thewave:

If this was "unleashing hell," then they need to do it more often. Was that prevent D at the end? Did they not learn from Rex last year that all prevent does is prevent your own team from winning?

The Football Gods are aligning. Yesterday it snows and it gets cold in time for the Ravens to get some time outside in Green Bay type weather. Did they practice outside today ?

Now the steelers & patriots lose. If we get the win... I'll be even haappier than I am now. Glad I have Tuesdays off.

So much for the Steelers playoff hopes. Now it's between us and Jacksonville, whom still has to play Indianapolis.
[/quote]
don't forget... they have to play us a 2nd time and as long as we both win out until then, if they beat us we tie with them record wise

not to mention we still have to win tommorrow night before we can say anything about playoffs

I find it funny how even the National Media makes excuses for the Steelers and always keeps a positive outlook on their situation no matter how bad it looks.

The guys on NFL Network are talking about how the Steelers will still make the playoffs, even though they are on a 4 game losing streak and 2 of those loses from games against the Chiefs and Raiders.

The Ravens lose 5 games to 4 division leaders, 2 of which were undefeated at the time, and only one of those games were decided by more then 6 points. Yet, they talked about how the Ravens wouldn't make the playoffs and how much of a disappointment we were this year.

However with the Steelers having 3 loses against the Bears, Chiefs, and Raiders, they still make accuses for them and ride their coat tails. I don't understand it

The Raiders are AFC North killers, and they're my second favorite team this week!

I wonder what excuses the Squealer fans will come up with this week... Big Jen played and they still got burned.

I'm starting to wonder if Oakland is really going to be the gimme that I thought it would be.

They're still buying the Steelers? That's unreal.

I remember when they could only say good things about us too. "They're better than the record shows."

What a difference a few weeks make.

Probably because the Steelers were the SB winner last season.

All the more reason for them to be the disappointment of the year.

Patriots losing is actually a bad thing. They own the tie breaker against us and and the loss keeps Miami alive on a pretty crowded field. The Jets, Dolphins, Jags, and Broncos all won today. We need a win tomorrow to keep pace.

A team cannot claim to Unleash Hell & run the Prevent Defense.

Kinda like I am going to kick your a** , uh right after I finish my tea and scone.

I don't get it either. National media just loves those Steelers, no matter what. Maybe Ben is still hit on the head, :bricks: but give the Raiders some credit.
Let's go Monday Night we gotta win!!

I'm not going to really celebrate the Steelers losing until the Ravens win tomorrow. Let's not forget that the stars aligned for the Ravens to take a step forward in the wildcard race two weeks ago but they failed to snatch a win. Hopefully, that doesn't happen again.

Ha! I think it was Collingsworth that said, "They didn't unleash hell on the NFL. They didn't even unleash heck on the Raiders."

But let's not get cocky. The Ravens still have to win tomorrow night - and a few more after that.

funniest thing though was the td pass that won this game .... he was so open it was like a kelly washington play against the browns no one saw him open

and i hope clark now knows what that hit feels like he got his bell rung something fierce in that game by his own safety none the less lol
