Antwan Barnes Should Be Activated This Week.

I would like to Barnes activated too but he seems to have put himself in the doghouse after his big missed tackle in the first Bengals game.

If one tackle gets you in the "doghouse" then Ray Lewis and Ed Reed would be in there as well... If you activate Barnes, who do you Deactivate? I can't wait to see Kruger against these guys,

It's what I've heard on several radio stations and from Mike Preston. I never said it was a fact but it could explain why he hasn't played since then.

Barnes career with the Ravens is most likely done. I don't see him getting activated again sadly.

I don't know if they have the worst offensive line.

I certainly hope Kruger gets plenty of reps, he should be very effective. We need to get there though, otherwise Driver and Jennings will shred us deep down the field.

If the secondary is going to struggle at least try and get up in Rodgers face and make him pay for throwing bombs down field. Get those QB hits!

A speed rusher like Barnes could have great success against the older Packers tackles.

the thing about those radio stations and people like Preston is, they are only giving you their opinions most time. Just like you or I. The different is they get paid to have people listen to them and read their material.

They use words like inside source to make things seem more official, but those sources many times are just people giving their opinions on a matter as well.

So with that said here's my opinion on Barnes. I think he is in a dog house because of a missed tackle, i just don't think he has played up to the level of expectations we've had for him. Both his special teams and defensive play has been spotty, which could be said for most of the defense, but when u are nothing more then a role player, most times you are the first to see the bench

IDK, I think i'd rather have Barnes playing over Ellerbie. Sadly, I think he will stay on the inactive list unless someone gets hurt.

I like Ellerbe more than Barnes so far this season. Ellerbe is a very good open field tackler from what I remember. He even got one on Wes Welker in the flats, even though that was negated by a penalty. I see him being a big part of Ravens D in the future. With Barnes, I'd say it is between him and McClain. They are both speed rushers with questionable tackling. I say play whoever has the better week. I really don't see either having a great impact on this game.

Barnes is playing well. Packers OL can't stop him, and have been called for penalties twice so far.
