Goodell passes down new guidlines for head injuries what are your thoughts?

Just got the mobile alert on this.

Ya know....if the players are going to lie to the doctors just to get back in and play then I'm all for the league setting down guidelines so the guys don't f' up their health when they're elderly. That hypermacho stigma has got to change someway.



I went cold Sunday listening to Merril Hoge describe how he DIED and then revived....

I've read that several companies make helmets designed to prevent concussions, but NFL players won't wear them, saying they're heavier than the regular helmets. I don't buy that at all, it's the "hypermacho stigma" you mentioned. Guess it makes you less of a man if you wanna protect your head? I read about a year ago that there aren't any players in the NFL that wear a cup. Again, they're too afraid of being ridiculed for wearing them. These guys are crazy! They're really gonna pay for these decisions later in life, unfortunately.
