Whdo You Think Will Win? Green Bay Vs Dallas

28 posts in this topic

i got green bay, favre will throw at least 8 TDs.

(yeah, Favre is my fantasy QB)

Fantasy aside, I would still pick Green Bay. I'm basing this on a healthy Woodson, which he hopefully will be.

Yeah, GB definitely has one of, if not the best all-around corner tandems right now. Definitely the best in the NFC.

Harris straight up slammed some Detroit WR (think it was McDonald) to the ground before he could even get off the line on Thanksgiving.

I am a Favre fan, so Greenbay for me. Before we got the Ravens I was *gasp* a Redskins fan so there is an inherent hatred of anything Dallas.

That's alright, I was a Redskins fan when I was younger too. But that was just to annoy the rest of my family of Eagles fans.

LOL! I was a Giants fan because I was cheering for them 6 times a year anyway...every time they played the 'skins, 'boys, or Eagles.

Heck, it seems I'm still cheering for them 6 times a year, though I wish they would get rid of Coughlin. I just don't like that guy and would like him to retire from the ranks of HCs.

As to the subject of this thread, using pure objectivity rather than emotion, I think Dallas will win tonight. I'd sure like Favre to pull it off, though.

If I knew for certain that everyone on GB's defense was going to start and play the majority of the game then I'd pick them.. but without knowing that for certain, I gotta go with Dallas. I don't see GB getting an efficient pass rush on Romo and if they can't do that he will pick them apart all day.

Also with it being in Dallas I gotta give an edge to the home team in tough games.

Ugh, forgot how much I hate watching games in Dallas because of that stupid hole in the roof, but at least it's at night so it won't be noticeable. I'll still know it's there, though.

im taking Favre and the Packers on this one......he has the skill, the knowledge basically everything a younger QB would have, only difference is that he's become a little less mobile. Plus Romo idolized Favre when he was younger, AND Favre is my starting Fantasy Quarterback hehe..........so of course..im takin the Packers!

My 2-cents worth: The Pats already beat the Cowboys, pretty handily...in Dallas..so, if the Pats make it to the SB Phoenix for a re-match against them...I like my team's chances!

However...the Pats lost a SB to Brett and there may be a score left to settle! I know that a Packer/NE SuperBowl would be the ultimate "good vs. evil" extravaganza...with the entire population of the western civilized world rallying around Favre-mania!

I'll take the chance...just for the competitive excitement, not to mention that the Boys need a wake-up call...they're still hanging on to their glory years of the freakin' 90's!

GO PACK!!!

I started watching and understanding football in the begining of the 90's and became a Dallas fan. Since i was in elementry school I hope nobody blames me for becoming a Dallas fan. I still am a Dallas fan under the Ravens of course so I'm rooting for them.

I notice alot of people root for GB because they like Favre and how could one not like Favre, he is the Cal Ripken of football.

Seriously, is there anybody out there that does not like Brett Favre?

Only sick, sick people.

I think GB are the Best team in the NFC, and my favourite.

Brett Favre may well be my favourite non-raven.

the cowboys are probably my most hated team in the league.

Roy williams is my least favourite player in the league.

Dallas win + R.Williams picking off/sacking Favre = me crying. :(

"you Fought Well young one, my child.....but you still have alot to learn to compete with the Greats...." lol (note the chinese accent) hehe :P:)

Chicago Bears fans. Considering how long Favre has owned them, I can't blame them..

Favre just pinched a nerve and will most likely be playing next week, oh and he also seperated his non-throwing shoulder and didn't even realize it. 1 tough dude. Sucks for whoever had him as a fantasy QB.

Oh and Favre is only 38 Jon even though I know you are just joking. Only man tougher and older is Randy "the natural" Couture from the UFC who is 44 and still whoops up on people no contest.

Well, in football years, he's 62. It's like dog years, but I don't know the exact conversion numbers...but he's still 62.

Its one year for every time the entire nation collectively mutters:

"still got it ! ;) "

he's aged horribly this year.

Wow, I did a pretty horrible job of picking this game.

Not only did I fail to pick the winner, I failed to correctly pick if Woodson would play or not.

come on people lol......just because they lost that game doesnt mean they're out of it......they are 10-2 for crying out loud....all is not lost for them. and apparently, Favre must still have gas in the tank for him to go from 4-12 one season, then 10-2 the next season.
