Nfl Replay Ravens/steelers

[Purple Nurple]

I just walked in the door from the airport and HAVE TO KNOW when the replay will happen. My wife recorded the game (which, by the way, was EPIC to witness from the game winning field-goal endzone) and forgot to hit record for the overtime!

BTW, for those riding Cundiffs you know what.....the kid missed LOADS (actually, all 4 or 5) of his practice kicks during halftime. Very nerve wracking if you were there. Not saying he didnt come through in a clutch, just saying.

Yea I saw him missed them during halftime too. That's why I put off going crazy till after we won

I guess that's why they do it; so they know what adjustments to make. I remember Jeff Reed missing what looked like chip-shots prior to kick off at the AFCCG. I was thinking, "oh Lord, we are toast."

It was after his fourth or fifth miss that he looked disgusted and packed it in for he sidelines. I could feel my heartburn kicking in bigtime. I was just glad Flacco pushed to the right and centered him up perfectly for the game winner.

Man he was perfect on that last second FG; just not enough leg (and he was out of range). They just know what needs to be done.

Man, I cant tell you how hard my heart was beating on that one. We were third row back, just off to the side of the posts. GO, GO, GO!!!!! It sailed, looked true, then fell just short. I'll tell you what though.....for being my first time at M&T, I would not trade this game and how it unfolded for ANYTHING. I feel blessed to have seen what I saw.

Actually, I just did about five seconds ago. My wife paused and there I am during the first extra point kick. right on the edge of the screen. Its hard to see but I was two seats to the side of the cameraman, you can see my brother in number 20 and I'm right next to him.

SAFE would have thrown you out. My son tried to get his jacket from me and they would not let him and I sit on the rail, he was in the next section.

Made it once; Giants/Eagles game. Shockey beat Brian Dawkins for the TD pass and I was RIGHT THERE (few rows back). Then all these photos came out of that catch and I was juuuuuust out of the picture. But we made it on ESPN that whole weekend. It's funny seeing yourself at the game. I was also on the news standing next to Jeff Hostetler once.

The kickers have to test the wind and how to adjust their technique to conditions before the game. I don't think they're too concerned with wow'ing anyone during pre-game warm up.

Yet you always hear the commentators mention what kicks they were making pre-kick off. In addition to getting acclimated to the conditions, they have to be able to tell the coach what their range will be from each end. I just think it's amazing that they can make those adjustments and not use them again for 90+ minutes.

They've only announced the Tuesday replays. Eagles/skins and colts/texans. The titans/cards game is a shoe-in for the final drive alone. Probably depends on if the patriots make this game comptetetive as to whether it leapfrogs ravens/steelers.

That would be a disgrace. The only thing good about that game was Drew Brees and the Saints D. The Pats were not competetive at all.

I think thats the key. We've had 3 or 4 replayed this year and I think the only one we won was San Diego.
