well, its going to be a very Cold night in Green Bay for our game. I think its said to be like 20 Degrees? Anyway, the Packers are heating up and have really turned into a team to my reckoned with. Donald Driver is an Awesome receiver, and needs to be contained like Brandon Marshall was vs Denver. Charles Woodson will be looking to grab a few Ints, lets hope we come out strong in the Frozen Tundra. Thoughts?

they sure are hard to beat on madden, if that counts for anything.
Yeah, to get that achievement to beat them at Lambeau while its snowing or somthing like that. I had to try Twice. lol well Back On Topic. :baltimore-ravens: btw sorry for coming down hard on ya in the game thread Bosanac. Negativity pushes my buttons. :D

Just b/c Kampman and Harris is out for the season don't mean we can take them lightly, they are still pretty talented. We have to contain Rodgers from rolling out on us and sack him since I think he is Top 3 in getting sacked this year. Our Cbs will have a true test for them next Monday and get ready for alot of man coverage by the Packers D. Joe, please be aware of Woodson, one of the best man coverage Cbs in the league, he is notorious for picking off comeback and hitch routes which are our favorite routes to run.

I think the power run game will pay HUGE dividends Monday night. Let's not get into a shoot-out with GB, show them how the AFC North plays, punch them directly in the mouth! Rogers is a GREAT QB and we will be tested. The pressure better dialed up for this one! Joe needs to have another solid game to survive Lambeau.

Btw, if I hear Frozen Tundra one more time....I'm going to scream.. lol It's repetitive... Frozen-frozen ground?

They have an extremely stingy defense, especially when it comes to yards. But their offensive line is a big problem for them. Teams who have gone up against them with a good defensive front have really made it difficult for Rodgers.

Asides from the Ravens, I'm a pretty big NFL fan, so I usually try watch 8-9 games a week on my Game Pass (I feel like I should atop this, cost me over $330!).

Anyway, I have seen Green Bay's last two games. This is a very well-rounded team. Their passing attack could be highly dangerous if we do not get to Rodgers in time.

Their defense is very strong also, grounding the Cowboys offense at Lambeau two weeks ago. Charles Woodson is having a DPOY campaign, generating interceptions and fumbles atop fantastic run support.

I'll detail more ofmy observations closer to the game, I'm still coming down from the Steelers game and it's 2am so I think I'll call it an evening. All I will say is this will be a very tough game.

If we played similar to what we did last night we should win the close one in Green Bay. Trust me, there is no chance we overlook the Packers, especially on the road on Monday Night.. Even without Polamalu, the steelers defense still has an edge over the packers with their line and line backers, and we had a decent day against them. Hopefully Clayton can have another big day against an inexperienced corner for the Pack.

Lets just believe in our team guys! They can hang with the top tier teams and they will prove it by not losing another game this season!

Our boys are hungry and they are playing mad with a huge chip on their shoulder. I mean even Chris Carr and Walker have stepped up. WTH is that all about? lol

I chalk this one up as a big L
A very tough stadium
Packers getting an extra 3 days to prepare not playing since Thanksgiving
Excluding Ray Rice us having no offense
Our secondary
We can't tackle
Flacco has been looking like a deer caught in the headlights
It basically took us OT to beat a QB that had one snap prior to in his short career
We would have been smoked if 43 and 7 played

Everyone is gonna say we can get to Rodgers bc they have horrid pass protection

but we couldn't even get to a rookie last night with his starting tackle out I believe..we have got to get to the quarterback PERIOD!

I think we should do what we did against the Steelers.

Confuse Aaron Rodgers, put 8 or 9 in the box for the first half, blitz like crazy.

Then around second half, switch it to zones and zone blitzes.

:34853_shakehead: GB beats the Lions and then all of the sudden they are great again? I don't buy it. They are on and off. It all starts with shutting down Ryan Grant, everything else will fall into place. To be honest, the Lions gave that game away, inwhich they had PLENTY of chances to actually push it to the wire.
I think we are not giving the Ravens enough credit. The defense has imprioved in the last 5-6 games and the Offense looked pretty good against the Number 1 ranked Defense in the league. Give the guys credit for putting up 20 on the Steelers.

Really?! Really now? Another ignorant BR.com post I get to have fun with.

Flacco is completing 65% of his passes, is rated in the top 10 in the NFL for quarterbacks (across the board, td/int/yards, etc), has better stats then he did last year, has posted 7 90% or better game ratings this season and is overall playing on a different level than last year.

Another fun fact- as a rookie he completed 257 passes for 2957 yards in 16 games. In 11 games this year he has completed 242 passes for 2744 yards.

So no. He hasn't been like a deer in headlights. He's improved in every single statistic category since last year.

Totally agree.

After all, Green Bay is the only team to lose to the Bucs so far.

Actually I thought our pass rush wasn't that bad considering Pittsburgh game plan was to force the run, us having no Suggs, and the Steelers using alot of Max protect for Dixon with Heath Miller blocking rushers mostely. Could it have been better? Sure, but I think Mattison called a very good game/scheme considering we had no idea what to expect from Dixon. For GreenBay, I imagine the Mattison dialing up the heat quite a bit (ala the colts game) since we know what hes capable of doing..

Actually Green Bay leads the league in sacks allowed. He's been sack an amazing 44 times!

That's at least six times more than these awesome teams: Kansas City, Buffalo & Lions.

Rogers is a sitting duck. Even though we aren't living up to our pressure standards, we are still better than most teams.

This should be an early christmas present with a bow on it. However, if we don't get to Rogers, its going to be a long day.

Find me some stats minus check downs to Rice and the first few games when we ran up the score versus basement dwellers and we have more to talk about

i'm not going to speak to stats, because they certainly don't lie, but Flacco's game can be described as follows: drop back, swivel head around, shuffle feet around anxiously, throw a 3 yard pass to Ray Rice. Stats be what they are, Flacco looked terrible last night. I would be really interested to see how many of his yards this season are a result of plays made by the receiver AFTER the catch -- the few times the Ravens went deep last night Flacco seemed to have about 5-10 yards too much on it. Just looks real nervous and quite different than he did at the beginning of the year. This wouldn't bother me at all if it was the Ravens gameplan to compliment a strong running game, but it's like sometime in the second quarter the OC forgets that Ray Rice kills people when he touches the ball. Flacco just looks confused and like defenses dictate how he plays as opposed to vice versa.

Joe passed for almost 300 against Pittsburgh, 260 against NE,385 against Minnesota, and 256 against Indy. Not bad for a second year qb against some pretty good defenses.

The guy threw 0 interceptions, 1 td, and 289 yds against a very good defense. People are getting on joe for dumping it off to Rice, but usually Rice is the only one open! I just don't see how you think joe looks confused? He played a solid game last night

How was Flacco terrible?? Not his fault he was being pressured by one of the best defenses in the league. He threw a few deep balls down the field when needed. No INT'S. Overall he had nearly 300 yards and managed the game.. What more can you ask?

I love me some Ray Rice but it's pretty sad when your leading receiver is your RB Call it what you want sub par receivers not getting open or a QB get too comfy on his check downs
.....and no I mean more than just one particular game

THANK YOU! Joe isn't Manning, Brees, Brady or Favre. He's still learning, and he's still getting better! Joe is going to win a ton of games for the Ravens in his career, I can assure you of that. People need to get rid of all these expectations and thinking that he's going to throw 30 td's, and make the pro bowl in his second season.
