Exactly and they have a great mobile QB. He definitely opened a lot of people's eyes with that performance yesterday including ours. Now, I just want to know if that was good or bad for us. Reason being, if we would have known he was mobile we probably wouldn't have called the blitz without some type of protection on the flats, but that would also open the door for more rushes because they would have played conservative to respect the bootleg which could have turned into a tragedy for us. Not having any film to watch on this guy may have been beneficial and unbeneficial. COMMENTS??

we let alot of there drives continue on poor tackling and giving up yds on the ground.everyone in the stadium knew they were going to run but we couldn't stop them, but yeah just because Dixon only threw 1 nfl pass in his career is a bogus way to go abouot it.Flacco and Ryan were ROOKIES with 0 passes and both went 11-5 we don't know what Dixon can do,and as far as Flacco's ball security well Pitt has veterns linemen who know the game he got pressured alot we need to fix this for the rematch and i think we will

I fail to see the point you are trying to make here. We don't have any ball security problems.

You are failing to see the point, because I AM NOT trying to make a point. I know that might be rare around here at "camp suspiscion," but it is - kinda is what it is.

Maybe I failed to include the timing of Joe's Ball Security issues and the location on the field. Red Zone interceptions, bad throws, mistakes and fourth quarter inefficiency continues to plague Flacco over the last few weeks. Now, the big late game fumble this week. This is what I mean by ball security.

My question is how much of this is Flacco, or how much is the ankle injury, or how much of this is pass protection. Sorry if I wasnt clear, but that is the nature of my analysis of the issue.

I just thought that people at the game might have some better angles as to what is REALLY happening with Joe as of late.

Wasn't at the game, but I can tell you what's happening with Joe as of late. The guy is in his second year, and he's still finding his way! I understand what you are saying, but things like that are going to happen early in his career. Nothing to panic over.

That was a mean pass rush, Joe did a solid job overall. He does need to just tuck it or chuck it sometimes.
Agreed.
On a side note - my frustration with receivers not named Mason is boiling over. Is it Joe's fault or the wideouts? Where did Kelly Washington go? Cause I haven't seen him lately. Is LJ Smith on the team still? Don't get me started on Demetrius, let alone Clayton.

I have no clue why Washington still primarily only comes out on 3rd down. The guy has a sick completion %. We should be playing a 3 receiver set a lot more with him as the slot receiver. Even though Clayton had a good yardage game last night, I'd be looking to promote Washington over him if he can keep his % rating as high as it is.

Yeah, maybe it just boils down to that. That's a REASONABLE ASSUMPTION. Let's hope so anyway. I think the problem might be that Joe gave us some early glimpses of GREATNESS earlier in the year. Maybe our expectations went soaring too high.

Actually, maybe that's the same thing that happened with the whole team when we were ranked #1 in the power rankings.

Here's the way I see it. Joe has shown flashes of what he will be in the near future. I'm happy because he is still improving every single game, he has shown his toughness this season, and he is developing into a leader on this team. Ray will only be around for so long, after he's gone it's Joe's team. I think he just needs a little more time, and a few more weapons around him would help greatly.

I think that when everything comes together, Joe will be right up there with the best.
