New England Patriots Vs. New Orleans Saints On Mnf (Game Thread)

112 posts in this topic

I know we are all focused in on the game tonight, but tomorrow night should be a good one. Patriots vs. Saints. Brady vs. Brees. Two high powered offenses. But sometimes when a game like this is built up to be spectacular, it's usually a blow out.

I would like to see the Saints win because I don't like the Patriots. I would also like to see the Saints go 16-0 and to see then tie the 07 Patriots records, because for one I don't like the Patriots, and two, have nothing against the Saints.

It should be a high scoring game and fun to watch. I like the Saints to win because Brees is playing better then Brady right now, and the Patriots have trouble finishing out the games as we saw against the Colts.

Prediction: Saints 48-38

LOL Beers.

I think the Saints have what it takes to win against the Pats. But who knows what'll happen. It'll probably be a low scoring game.

Sedrick Ellis is making his return. He's a huge part in stopping the running game, Saints were abused on the ground while he was out. To be honest, I think this game is going to be somewhere in the 20's, not the shootout everyone is hoping for.

i feel this is the make it game for the Saints.yes they are 10-0 but i'm not believing the hype yet.Look who they have beaten, weak division and weak conference the three afc teams they have beaten....bills,jets,and dolphins.I'm not downing the Saints or there players don't hate me lol and if they win tonight i take it back...Brees finally has a better defense then in years past there offense was always good,we will see what Brady and compnay do.
Now I may also be biased because of the Panthers getting whooped and my Fandem for Favre. but hey I've been wrong before

i would hope but people might never give saints their props.ESPN,Joe buck and Aikmen,Ron Jawarski are all dissing the saints so i just don't know what it will take.unless people are just showing favortism to the pats, favre and the colts

I like both of these teams, so I'll be happy regardless who wins. Should be a great game.

Don't know if it will beat the Colts/Pats game though....

I hope the Saints go 18-1...and Im rooting for them in this game. They NEED to beat NE to prove they are a legit NFC force. As was said they havent exactly had the toughest schedule and only one more somewhat tough game against Dallas, but I think tonight should be even tougher.

Saints 38-35

I need Tom Brady and the Pats' O to have an off-night for the sake of my Fantasy team (I am facing someone who has Tom Brady and Gostkowski going tonight, and I am only up 39)

That's close.

Brady-27 points
Gostkowski-12 points

Those seem realistic

I am facing Jon and im up 58 points and he has the Pats D and Jeremy Shockey tonight. I think im safe with Shockey scoring TD's because they offset with the Pats D right?

WHy run it on 3rd down if you have Drew Brees as your QB?
[/quote]

Saints are running for 150 yards per game this year. They may also be setting up a play for later.
