I bet if you asked Ray, he'd tell you that he's drawing from something beyond.
I need some of what Rays got straight up lol.

I wanted to vote for Cundiff as the player of the game, sadly he's not an option... but Clayton is. :P
I've been a big Clayton defender but I am begining to hate the guy. He has his best game of the year, against legit competition. Probably a career game, vs. legit competition. But it also turns out to be his worst game of the season. He's got the fumble and that huge penalty at the end. Talk about hot and cold.

H8R, Out. 4 a.m. comes early. Too bad we couldn't have won a few of those close games.... Are we trying to make a run like the Giants 2 years ago?

PLAYOFFS?????????? Lets not even go there.

Gotta give Dennis Dixon some serious props. He held in as best he could considering the circumstances.
I'd say,he showed why he had that high grade point average at Oregeon.Just glad at crunch time nothing beats experience{or a little luck!}Whatever,we won and we ain't givin' it back!

Yeah, I expected that last kick before OT to go in. That's not something I could have said with Steve.
I saw it going and from the angle it looked like he was going to make it. I thought for sure he had it when it was on the way. It was dead center, just not enough leg. Cundiff has impressed me. I still miss Stover, even though Stover wouldnt have it that one but Cundiff has some gull.

think ill be able to find a pic of kruger now for my sig?

Franny anyway you could prop me one?
lol I'm thinking the same thing. You should try to find a pic of him making that interception, that's what I'll do.

WOW!!!!!!!! What a game, I don't know about you but to me tonight showed two things, 1) tonight had to be the Game of the Year or at least runner up for it. 2) Ravens-Steelers Hands down is the Best Rivalry in the NFL HANDS DOWN!

A win is a win, I'll take it. After the frustrations of not having a Kicker and a FG costing us a few games, it felt good to have a Kicker who made a Game Winning FG. Cundiff my friend, you may have found a new home. Paul Kruger is going to be a great football player one day, whether he will play LB or DE is the question but he will be great. I can't imagine what our defense would be like if we had Suggs(LB), Ray Ray(LB), JJ(LB) and Paul Kruger playing DE at the same time. Add that with Ngata and Gregg..... what a defense that would be.

Green Bay here comes the Ravens!!!!

For sure! W00TW00T!

The troll Steelers fans will complain that we beat them without their stars...Dennis Dixon didn't play like a scrub most of the game though. Not having Polamalu probably hurt more.

I don't know, it's a tough call between this game and "The Drop."

I never believed in him. He's just an inconsistent player who looks really good when he finally shows up in a game and then vanishes for a while.

It's much easier to cope when your expectations are low. :P

I have no expectations for Clayton. If he plays well, great and if he doesnt, I am fine with that to. I just hate seeing the guy catch so much heat because he's not a premier reciever. But if anybody came close to giving this game away, it was him. I can deal with a dropped pass. But coughing up the football and dumb penalties, are harder to forgive.

because thats not the goal???????????? Be real here, 1 or 2 more wins (which was VERY doable) you'd be ready for January to get here and the P-word to start.

Damn Mendenhall had 95 yds on us? we have to change our defense up
We gave up 150 total, which isnt good but the Pittsburgh O-line was playing exceptionally well and lets be honest, we missed assignments and tackles. We could have easily stopped him for about 70.

To me, that is not an excuse. The defense needs to overcome whatever the offense throws at them. There was some holding, but this isn't the Vikings O-line or the (pre-2009) Giants O-line. They should be better than that, imho.

However, this game was still a vast improvement to the defensive showing in the first games this season. I'm glad they didn't fall apart during OT.

The lack of pass rush and overall QB pressure is disturbing... if we don't fix that by Monday, we won't have a chance against Donald Driver and Greg Jennings, arguably the top WR duo in the NFL right now.

Pittsburgh was max-protecting and chipping guys left and right. Also, if you notice we were playing a bit deeper wit the LB's allowing for the spacing to work in Pittsburghs favor. The LB's need to tackle better. The Dline was giving them free shots by cleaning up the trash.

Though for the most part we shut down Marshall and Royal, Moss and Welker, Wayne and Clark. I think we can handle those guys for the most part. We WILL get pressure on the edges but we MUST get penetration from the middle!

Kruger did a great job on his pick to disguise the blitz and drop back and pick it at the last nic of time.
That INT was remarkable for a D-Lineman... great hands.

It was the same exact kind of interception. Faked the blitz and dropped back to pick it off on the right side.

Ok i have a question butt-wipe Collinsworth brought this up,what would have happened if Cundiff made the 56 yd kick. What kind of backlash would there have been considering it should have been 3 yds deeper a 59 yd kick.Thye explained why last night right before the OT coin flip.Would they have had a booth review when all the players were leaving? or would it have been another thing the Steelers fans(Minus Warden and Prophet who gave up the grats) could have said to why they lost?
