I think it's time for GM to bring back the Pontiac...With product lines like the GTO and Firebird people made songs about these cars for crying out loud. The new Sex Appeal of the vibe "vibing of the Pontiac." I know this a bit old news, but I think with that g8 build straight from Holden were good ole Tomsky is from... We should convince GM that those cars meant something to us! :Sports_sport04:

I'm Ian Tomsky from Holden Australia, and I can attest to the G8 being a thing of beauty..
We built a car from the ground up that can compete bound for bound with the BMW 3 series.
Thanks to Queen Victoria and GM we are now building Chevy's in Australia on the Zeta platform.

More songs are made about Corvettes. :P I would much rather see them put more into doing the Camaro right. By right I mean a solid V8 for a younger driver. If GM doesn't start appealing to late 20s-30s, the big block will die.

I just don't think there's enough of a market for both F bodies.

Pontiac used to be the "excitement Brand" Too bad all the products were waterd down rebadged chevys. I've had TONS of F bodies and love them but the thing that makes them great to gear heads are the things that a lot of people despise. I see no need for the Firebird to come back at this time, hopefully it will though!

Me? Not much. My Uncle is an Executive for GM out in Indy and I could get a huge discount if I wanted, but I still opted for an F150. I like Ford trucks better. But I'm not anti-GM by any means.

Why would they bring it back, they JUST ditched it. too much redundancy with Chevy. G8 was the only unique model. All the rest were rebadged Cobalt, Malibu, Impala, and Aveo.

Growing up my dad had built a 67 GTO convertible, he started by buying a good body and frame and redid everything from the interior to the drive train. It was such a sweet ride, but sadly he sold it before I was ever old enough to drive it. He complained how wide the wheel base was, he said it would sway in and out of the "grooves" in the road that todays cars naturally cause because they arn't as wide as the older, big bodied cars. What a disappointment that was. I was only a few years away from being able to drive it myself.

I'm shocked that he would pour his blood, sweat and tears into something like that and then let it ever leave the family. Sorry man.

Write a poem about how awesome Hines Ward is and I'll consider forwarding your resume to him.

Now that I look at that pic I realize he had a different hood, it wasn't that same scoop. And I remember a Tac on the hood that was infront of the driver.
But someone tell me, are those not some killer body lines?

Was his a rag top too? One of these days I'm getting a rag top; if it can be a classic like the GTO or the Chevelle, then it'll be that much sweeter.

It was a convertible, so yeah. If I ever get a classic car, this is the Era I'm gonna go for. I'm a GM fan, even tho right now I'm driving a Ford. But only for it's affordability.
