I'm with one of the previous posters and really don't care what the Ravens wear (well, definitely not pink), JUST PLAY WELL AND WIN THE GAME!

If we need black uniforms to get pumped for this game then we are in big, big trouble..........

The all black uniforms are obviously a big concern to the fans. When we get a thread every week about it, does Harbaugh not read the comments from the fans every once in a while. Communication between Harbaugh, media, and fans are poor (maybe in everybody's best interest). Little things like jerseys and post-game comments don't distract much from a teams progress.

This is why it's so hard to organize anything like a "blackout" or "whiteout" such a Penn State does.

Look, the Ravens have already stated to wear PURPLE on Sunday. If you're going to the game, WEAR PURPLE! The whole point is that we don't want to see black or yellow in the stands. Not at all. If the marketing team was REALLY on their game, they would also give the SAFE/SECURITY people neon green, or red jackets... and get rid of their yellow jackets for this weekend.

If fans can show enough appreciation and spirit by wearing purple and completely flooding the stadium with PURPLE... then perhaps in future games we'll do the black jerseys. You don't have to go buy a purple jersey. Just get a purple t-shirt. A fleece, a hoodie, a jacket... anything.

No matter what color you like better, the point is to show unity and make out stadium look like we give a damn instead of half the stadium wearing a color that is more prominent in the Steelers uniform than our own team's.

I know, that's always irritated me that safe wears yellow.

Also, I don't remember coach ever saying he didn't like the black unis. He just doesn't like them with black pants. This is precisely the game we should be wearing black unis for. Rival steelers, at home, snf, no question.

Can you imagine seeing that one guy at a Beaver Stadium white out game in the middle of the crowd wearing a black Lions jersey because it was cool looking?!
I really don't understand how one can consider himself/herself a true die hard fan and deliberately choose to go against what the Ravens' site is asking for...wearing purple. It's like a slap in the face imo.

I have a black Ngata jersey and a black out hat that I too was planning on wearing Sunday night. Hell, its even part of this years Christmas present from my wife.

Regardless, I will be wearing my same old purple Ray Lewis jersey.

Because, we are talking about adults...with lives. They dont hang on every word of the team's website nor is there the word-of-mouth and the expectation of a college campus. Out of the 70,000 plus in the stands I'll guess that maybe 2,000 of them have visited the Ravens' website and MAYBE half of those care what it says to wear.

All-purple could be interesting, but I wouldn't know how the pants would look. If the pants are as shiny as they look in black, then I'd say no.
