Their whole team was totally underperforming during their 0-6 start not just the secondary.

Also, Cortland Finnegan was a 7th rounder by Tennessee and he's a pretty darn good player. Its no guarentee this guy will be also but you never know.

This is why I'm afraid every time I hear a receiver got injured on another team. I know he struggled catching the ball in the preseason, but Justin Harper is a keeper in my book and I'm terrified someone will scoop him up before this season is over.

I like the measurables of Cary Williams. 6'1, 200lbs with blazing speed? He is likely a long term project who will get a long look during OTAs and next preseason, and you never know what we could have. This won;t preclude a move for a CB in the 2010 draft, but let' see what we have in this kid. Tired of the 5'9 crew and Cary Williams also has skills for safety. A diamond in the rough? Before anyone casts this kid off, look at how many times James Harrison's dope was cut and shuffled back and forth from practice squads.

I love the size on this kid. I would love to see what he can do.

I know this is going to sound dumb, but how did we pick him up from another teams PS? Aren't PS players on contracts and the team holds waivers over them?

Practice squad members can be promoted to any team's active roster. They're kind of like paid free agents.

He probably won't see action this year, but you never know. He will play as a gunner on Special Teams right away though. He is a prospect to try to make it next year.
