We have the best O line in the NFL.
We should win out are games from here on out to get the wildcard spot..

Don't you mean should have the best o-line in football? Our tackles are solid but the center of our line has struggled the last few weeks. The "best" o-line in football wouldn't get stuffed at the 1 yard line 3 plays in a row.

I would like Jason back but that will not happen. I know why they signed Birk, but I dont think him and Flacco and the rest of the line are on the same page yet.

I agree. Thats why I like the way the Eagles handle contracts. They recognize the young core guys on their team and give them extensions 2 or even 3 years before their rookie contract expires. Its a bit of a gamble but the rookie gets their security blanket in the form of a larger contract and siging bonus but its not a salary cap killing figure since the player is still young. Both sides win. Ozzie needed to recognize Browns talent sooner and lock him up the prior off-season when we probably could have gotten him for less than we're paying Birk.

McClain should have had one of those carries, preferably the first one. That play calling pissed me off.

I don't think McClain would've made a difference. The line, especially the interior, got shoved back several yards on both of the runs after Flacco's sneak. It's ironic how going into the game, Mathis and Freeney were the players fans were worried about but it was the Colts' DTs that came up big.

I disagree for this reason. Since McClain is our only FB when he gets the ball to run they don't give him a lead blocker. So I would take either McGahee or Rice with McClain leading the way. But the way our o-line played it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

They could at LEAST put a wide receiver out on one side or the other to make the defense at least THINK a pass might be an option. It gets one more defender out of the box. And everyone knows McGahee prefers single back formation. If you're going to run the I, then you might as well use McClain with a back-up linemen leading the way... or McClain leading the way for Rice. Defenses have a harder time finding Rice behind Gaither and Oher.

They had it set-up on the last chance but for some reason McGahee and Joe were not on the same page, Leron had a whole punched thru.

O-Line is almost the best, almost every other week.
3rd down & 1, oh boy, what a disaster. Since Cam is such
a offensive guru master, and we tried to run it in 2 times, why he couldn't come up with some passing play, for crying OL? Where are all those tricky plays from last year? Or Offense looks like the grinding squeeky wheel with no grease, getting stuck after few yards.
We looked like the Old Billick Ravens out there on Sunday.

Dude theres some guys playing college ball that could have given a half yard push. No excuse, I think everyone here would have called 3 runs on the half yard line. Who gets tackled for a loss on the 1 yard line? You dont even need a real push really, just dont get totally punked which our Oline did 3 times in a row.

That was a sad situation! I think we should have used 3 different backs..Or we should have done a wildcat play fake the hand-off and throw to Mason in the end zone..The Colts are expecting us to punch throw. They are going to tighten up on their d line anyway, all way had to do was fake them out...

I really hate being 'that' guy, but this topic has no point.

We already know our offensive line is young and great, and I think the players want to win every single game. It's a matter of execution.

So, I really don't know any other way to respond other than "Ok"

The reason I'm skeptical about the whole thing! Is because we had a great season last year, High expectations and we dominated the first 3 games of this season in full kick butt fashion. Then that was it...It was over just like that...I think we still have a lot of fuel left in this tank...

Glad to hear good news about Ben. Hope he really is fine. I like Ben a lot and would hate to see his season in jeopardy if he is not 100%

Can I just say I've greatly enjoyed your comments. Between you and the warden, you have respectfully expressed opinions and knowledge whilst adding great info about your own team. It's hard to come by in a hotly contested division, so I commend you my friend.
