Stupid And Ridiculous Nicknames

My friend Ken and I keep this running list of the dumbest nicknames that some of these announcers give players. I'm just curious if you all can recall any and share them because some of them are just silly. The ones I know of off the top of my head are:

Peyton Manning - "The Master of the Playclock" (Coined by John Madden)

Tom Brady - "Mr. Wonderful" (Coined by Phil Simms)

Braylon Edwards - "The Man Made of Rubber and Steel" (Yesterday on CBS)

Brett Favre - "The Indestructible One" (Coined by John Madden)

Josh Cribbs - "The Best Return Man in the NFL" (Yesterday on CBS.. which I like Cribbs but seriously, Devin Hester anybody?)

Any others?

I heard Tom Terrific a few weeks ago, can't remember who said it but it was pretty annoying.

Chris Berman has a ton, but many of them are kind of witty. The rest suck.

Plus he doesn't really count as an announcer in the traditional sense.

A friend and I used to do the nickname games with players when we played madden years ago and the one he made that stuck out was for Jake Reed of the vikes...his name was Jake "i can't" Reed...

lol........some of those nicknames can be rather................well......bizarre to some people but to the players and coaches themselves....seems like a perfect fit.

Yes he did. I believe he also used to talk a lot about "Keyshawn's Johnson." That one still leaves me speechless.

Not that they've been said by announcers, but the guys at Pro Football Talk dot com have some good nicknames, some Seinfeld based.

For instance, my favorite is LenWhale White. And thought he doesn't really play now, Two-Ton Fonoti was a good one for Toniu Fonoti

They refer to Domanick Rhodes as Poppy, because he got arrested for DUI and supposedly peed all over himself in the police car. This one's Seinfeld inspired, because the character of Poppy had bladder problems and ruined a couch with pee stains.

They also refer to "Lord Favre" all the time.

I like to say Shawne Roidsman.

As an afterthought, changing these players names in Madden is fun.
