I was in the stands, where were you?

Yes, "burned" generally refers to down the field, but Washington couldn't cover him on the in-routes, slants, or comebacks either....

And Garcon is a guy Washington should have been able to limit to under 60 yards. Straight speed guy with no real knowledge of sitting in zones yet, or breaking off routes. I was in the stands too and besides Fabians willingness to help out in run support, he was bad sunday.

I was sitting in the upper deck and it sounded like i heard him scream (unless there was a mic close by him). I remember turning to my GF and being like man he must be hurt something aweful.

You did hear him scream, I was watching it on NFL Gamepass
A nasty injury, it was obvious he was in agony, terrible to see

Get better soon!

i really felt like our DB's were playing better since the Broncos game...

but this is a perfect oppurtunity to check out some other options maybe pluck from FA...Harbaugh this is not a chance to give frank walker a bigger role...GOD NO!

Now that Washington is out for the season, I hope they start Webb. I have a feeling it will be Carr or Walker though. :34853_brickwall:

:deadhorse:
Lardarius Webb #21
I would suggest Webb to take the starting job, but not so fast. He is great on special teams as a return man, so there is a dilemma for coach. We would have to find someone else to take his spot on special teams, because obviously if he plays both, he would be out of gas in 2nd half.
Chris Carr #25
He plays nickelback and special teams as a punt returner, who doesn't return any punts, and barely covers anybody on defense, so that's not good enough option
and Nakamura & Washington are done on IR, we traded D.Martin to GB, cut Oglesby and here we go again.....
Frank Walker #41
no comment, or should I say more....
and Steelers are coming in town, God Help Us !!!

Any other ideas out there?

i dont mind the season were having because the rookies we got this year including the undrafted rookies have shown that they will be great for us later down the road. i know people hated on ozzies choices but look at the rookies we have to be able to plug and play. we can only expect great things from them. i think webb is ready to start but will he make mistakes yes but if we get him ready now i think he will be a shut down corner later for us.

I'm guessing it'll be more Walker.

Ok, you win, more Walker it is. Now the question is,
is it gonna help the team to win???
We know he can't cover anyone without PI penalty, so can
he return punts and kicks? There, he could hit everybody all day long, penalty or not. And No, I'm not kidding!

He got beat a few times against Indy but I agree he hasn't given up big plays like seemingly every other corner on the roster. He was slowly getting more playing time and will likely get the bulk of the snaps as a starter unless the team signs a FA.
