wasnt 13 of those points not the D's fault
Sorta like the Ravens defense last season where 7 or 8 TD weren't the defenses fault but it still counts as points scored. If you backed out those scores our D allowed fewer points than your D last season. But you Steeler fans still liked to rub your #1 ranking in our face. It is what it is. Your team gave up 27 points.

your right our team did let up 27 points....our D did not

and the rankings are based off yards allowed....and in that sense we are the best

and have been for three years

Looks like Big Jen has a concussion. They are being ravaged by injury.

This is now a must wing for us. We can only afford to lose one more game this season.

And Batch out for six weeks...Dixon backup.

What a time to play the steelers.

By the way we played well yesterday and these are the kind of games that really hurt.

When we were blown away by Bengals there is nothing to blame..We didn't show up.

Against Indy we let them out of jail..

(Defense is getting back on track and offense needs to address those Red zone issues..)

True but that stat is misleading. Total points allowed is the most important stat. Heck our record setting 2000 defense was technically the 2nd best defense that year if you go by yards allowed. Its all about points and after that yards/carry. IMHO. Steelers are the still the best defense though I'm not arguing that no matter what the stats say. They've earned it.

Thats why I don't like our chances. Your defense is a lot better than the Colts D, and we couldn't even score a TD against them.

The Colts actually have a better defense than people think. They give up the fewest points in the league.

On another note, it's looking like everyone's favorite nickel is going to be matched up against Mike Wallace. May God help us all...

really....i guess thats why their not on the top five list

1. Pittsburgh Steelers 277.9
2. New York Giants 282.2
3. Green Bay Packers 282.5
4. Washington Redskins 290.0
5. New York Jets 294.4

oh wait there they are......right at the top

hmmmm.......i guess the whole league has a bad D then
But in the only stat that matters they are:

1 Indianapolis Colts 157
2 New England Patriots 164
3 Cincinnati Bengals 167
4 Baltimore Ravens 171
5 Dallas Cowboys 175
6 Washington Redskins 178
7 Denver Broncos 183
8 Pittsburgh Steelers 184

Are Steelers' fans positive their coach is Mike Tomlin and NOT Omar Epps (Dr. Foreman, from House)

So we are going there. Howabout this look-a-like. Notice the ketchup on Casey's Jersey.

This is the man that'll likely be blasting Matt Birk and Chris Chester off the ball next Sunday night.

I hear ya'. If speak louder than a whisper I sound like Squeeky the Clown!

Hopefully a lot of our brethren did not sell their tickets to squealers fans and M and T rocks next Sunday night like it did yesterday.

I think everything is lining up to produce a victory over the Steelers. The injury bug is biting them hard. One thing yesterday showed us is this division race is not nearly over yet. What I consider to the be the toughest division in football falling to the worst teams in football. Minus the Ravens of course who nearly beat the Colts (a really good team). So keep the faith!

We always nearly beat the good teams. The question is whether or not Pittsburgh is truely a good team. If they are mediocre like we are, then maybe we stand a chance.

They've lost to the Chiefs and Bears, not exactly the cream of the crop. They should have lost to a Titans team that was at one time 0-6... I'd say they're a decent team.

All right so they are pretty much middle of the pack too. Now the next question is, which team will out bungle the other?

Will Joe throw a critical pick, will the Steelers defense give out in the fourth quarter, will Ben/Garcia/whomever become Ed Reed's best friend just when we need it, or will the Ravens find a brand new way to lose?

Actually that's a pretty good analysis. If Ben doesn't play or isn't 100%, then it's the Raven's game to lose. Even if the Steelers have a QB on Sunday, will their defense remember that NFL football games go on for four quarters, and not just three? Final point, if I were the Ravens, I'd have my special teams practicing running kick-offs back for TD's. Pittsburgh seems to be having a sale on those lately.

Like I said, it's the Ravens game to lose.
