I don't know, I'm pretty confident that we will find a way to lose. If I weren't a Ravens fan I would be interested to see just how it happens. We've lost on defensive meltdowns, dropped balls on offense, missed kicks and a forward lateral. How will they do it next week?

If there were no other reason I'd say we're going to lose because our offense is not efficient (to say the least).

I agree this team has found ways to lose several games this year but why would you got into a game with that mentality? I'm not questioning you as a fan but no matter how nervous I am about a game, I'll never go into a game confident my team will find a way to lose.

Ditto the Steelers. That's why next week it should be even money...Dumb v. Dumb.

Lol that is true. I'd forgotten about their losses.

I guess we will have to see who really doesn't want it more. Lol, usually those kind of comments apply to Bills vs Browns sort of games.

Regardless of who wins I only hope for a game without any life threatening injuries, something I always think about when my two favorite teams face off. Unfortunately at this point in the season, each team is in a somewhat desperate situation.

I go into a Ravens-Steelers face-off like my girlfriend goes in to watching a horror movie, ready to put hands over the eyes during the scary parts.

i tell you 1 thing playcalling will determine how the rest of the season unfolds . our coaches and coordinators disappointed me 2 day and the past couple of games 4 that matter . i think if they dont be more creative we are doomed the playcalling looked good at the beginning of the season and just went downhill . . . . mix it up ! watching us play recently is like reading the same book over and over . . . . same words on every page same chapters same content . . . it never changes ! i hope they have more plays than the 1 ' s they call because you can kiss this season goodbye

Can you blame the guy for being so negative. Its true, Ravens find a new to lose each week. I wouldn't be surprised if they find another way next week. Its something all Raven fans have gotten used to this season.

Next week is a must-win or our chances of going to the playoffs will be officially kaput...
What the Ravens need to do, is something similar to the 2007 Giants. They had that close loss to the Patriots almost putting them at 15-1, after that they went on a huge suprising playoff run to win the Super Bowl. The Ravens need to go on a similar streak and get in as the 5th or 6th Seed and maybe we'll see the Colts in the AFC Championship and the Ravens win the game on the road against Indy and advances to the SB. It might not be possible... but it might.... I'm just saying the Ravens need to go on a run of wins like the 2007 Giants did and carry the momentum into the playoffs and possibly the SB.

Let's see. Ravens coming off of tough loss to the Colts, in a game they should lose.
Steelers coming off tough loss to the Chiefs, in a game they should have won.

Ravens are pissed and want revenge on last year.
Steelers are totally lost.

I like our chances.

Luckily for them, they'll get to face a team that can barely score against Cleveland.

Right! what do the Steelers have to be nervous about??? We havent scored a 1st half TD in 6games! I dont see anything for us to be Puffed Up about!!! We'll See what Happens

Well if we miss the playoffs we better make sure we take the Steelers down with us.
lol, thats funny!!! well, if we take them down, all we have to do is win the other games and we're in. Thats if the Broncos keeps losing as well.

I have faith we will pull it off next Sunday. We need to come out fast and furious and keep the penalties to a minimum. Should be a tough game but we will win!

In my heart I know that the Ravens and Steelers are the two best teams in the NFL...too bad the scoreboard doesn't show it.
On that note I'd like to add it's been one of those seasons where all kinds of crazy stuff's goin' on.Seems like every week there's a couple of games that leave you saying "what the?".

Yeah he took a stiff knee to the head and came out near the end of the game and missed OT. Batch went in and couldn't get the job done.

Wow, sorry I only just caught the Ravens game about an hour ago and haven't caught up on the other games yet...

I imagine he'll be alright, he's pretty tough. Especially considering the implications of the game.

Well we need to see how Ben is because according to ESPN Charlie Batch is out 6 weeks with a wrist injury that means if Ben can't go they go with Dennis Dixon who is now the backup

I feel a for Batch(just a bit) but that's great news for the Ravens. It's gut-check time. Somehow, the season is STILL in the their hands. We'll see whether they grab it by the throat or let it slip through their fingers.

The same thing happened to us when we played them. Most the points they scored wasn't the D's fault. It's frustrating having to defend this point.

But at least your D was/is really good.

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that the early signs for Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) are "encouraging."
Roethlisberger was cleared to make the team flight home to Pittsburgh, remembers everything that happened on Sunday, and isn't dealing with any nausea. Big Ben was knocked out of the game in overtime on a hit by Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson. The Steelers play the Ravens in Week 12. PFT's source says "it'll take a lot" for Roethlisberger to sit out the intradivision matchup.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Steelers backup QB Charlie Batch needs wrist surgery and will be sidelined six weeks.
There are only six weeks left in the season, so Batch will be a candidate for injured reserve. With Ben Roethlisberger's (concussion) status up in the air this week, Dennis Dixon will have to at least be prepared to make his first NFL start. Dixon gave Batch a run for his money for the No. 2 job this summer, but the Steelers elected to stay with Batch's experience and accuracy edge over Dixon's athleticism and big-play ability. Those 13 points cost me a little less than 1000 bux!!! I'll take the loss given the playoff implications though.
