Week 11 –. Indianapolis Colts At Baltimore Ravens

2,169 posts in this topic

As much as I dreaded having to say this, once again Baltimore loses by an EASY SHORT RANGE FIELD GOAL. Credit to Billy Cundiff for making the rest of his attempts, but this was just ridiculous. 30 yards and it was WAAAAAAY off. And it would have been enough to win the game. It wasn't all on him, though. Ravens had every chance in the world to capitalize on 3 big turnovers and all we managed was 3 here, 3 there. As one of the commentators said, you can't expect to win this game with just field goals. This was probably the worst the Colts have played (partially thanks to our defense) this season but it still wasn't bad enough for us to pull out a win. I'm pretty disgusted right now. All that's left to do is heal up, work on the weak areas and try to bring the same defense or better to the rest of the season.

I don't understand what happened with our play calling. We had all the momentum on our side on that last drive. Why would Joe throw it in triple coverage when just needed sure yardage and no turnovers?? Why Would Harbaugh call a time out before challenging it?? I'm sorry Ed, but why try lateraling it in that position?? After the meltdown all around in that game, we don't deserve to get into the postseason. Only way we can do it is if we win out and hope the steelers and other wild card contenders epically fail, which I don't see happening. Screw this!

I hate to say it every week, but they played great. They held one of the best QBs of all time under 300 yards and forced two INTs. Only allowed 17 points. Great defensive effort.
Offense played amazing to the redzone. But then it seemed like everyone was shaking inside the 20.

It's sad, really. But it's not over yet. Pittsburgh doesn't play great football either at the time.

Come on guys! Looking forward to next Sunday. We WILL beat the Steelers!

especially with the steelers loss, this game hurts even worse

Not necessarily. In the Chiefs beating the Steelers, they've singlehandedly given the Ravens another week to keep their playoff hopes alive and saved their season (for now.)

The Ravens' playoff hopes are still in their own hands because the Steelers were the frontrunner for the AFC Wild Card, and since only one game separates them, a Ravens win over the Steelers at least once in their two meetings and winning out the rest of the season ensures a playoff spot.

My point is that its only 1in32 teams "year" it's like saying the sun will come up while peering down from the Ivory Towers.

Oh man..Pitt losing just made today's loss all that much worse. Wow..we had this one today. Oh well..on to next week. I think we probably have to win out to have any chance at a playoff berth.
