How Would You Rather Lose The Colts Game?

77 posts in this topic

For anyone who thinks we will win the colts game, don't get your hopes up. We can still make the playoffs if we win the rest of the season tho. Anyways its simple how would you want to lose this game. Blow-out or close Nailbiter(vikings)?

Id rather not lose this game at all. However if Mattison doesnt dial up a scheme to confuse manning or run the 3-4 its lights out in Baltimore, because Manning is almost unstoppable with the ball in his hands. That was proven when Ole Bill didnt wanna punt and give Manning 2 minutes to go 80+ yards. He knew Peyton could do it. Peyton Manning is a scary adversary and we need to get to him fast or hes going to make us pay

precisely. I wanna see some of those stand up defenses where no one has a hand on the ground. How is Manning seriously supposed to read that?

They take us out back and take care of business away from our friends and family.

My folks spent too much $$$ for my ticket to this game for me to even remotely think about us losing, as likely as it may be... that being said, IF we are to lose, I want it to be at the foot of Matt Stover.

i really cant see our defense stopping them but i think it will be a nail bitter as long as cam doesnt get to predictable and keep trying to bomb the ball.

Like i said before the only way I would like to lose to the colts is by a Stover FG. We definitely aren't stopping him with AFC West CB's.

I want it to be close. I would rather leave with a heart breaker than an embarrassment.

The Pats game a couple years ago was perfect. Nobody expected us to win, yet everyone (even Steelers fans) thought we were robbed.

And I DO NOT expect us to win this game either.

Don't give me all this RAH, RAH, RAH crap. I cannot kick Chuck Liddell's @ss; nor am I going to sit here and act like I would have a chance to.

With the team we have to put on the field, we cannot stop Manning. The Colts are the best team in the AFC if not the NFL right now.

I'm mainly going to tailgate. :)

If it's a close game and Stover kicks the GW field goal, I can't help but laugh my butt off. I definitely take this option over any other just to see Harbaugh squirm on his radio show airing on the next tuesday

Well I want us to win by Manning not getting a 3rd down conversion and stover coming up short on a 45 yard field goal. :point:

That would be ideal IMO.

I want to see Stover back in baltimore and the Ravens win. Best way to facilitate that...Stover goes 6-6 including a 50+ yard shot, and the Ravens win 21-18. Makes Stover look very good to us, showing NO reason why we shouldnt bring him back, yet we stil win.

Sure seems like there is a lack of confidence in this thread.

Manning owns us. Plus we are especially weak against the pass this year.

So it's hard to have confidence.

I am almost sure the game has not been played, right? Even the great Manning can have a bad day. Even our lousy corners can have a great day. As much as I think the Colts will win, I am holding out hope that the Colts have a huge bender at the hotel the night before or Manning gets swine flu (not fatal of course)...something.

Look folks...this game isn't as horrible as it looks at first glance. Sanders was a HUGE part of the Colts D. Perhaps Flacco can find enough holes. The Manninng/Wayne/Clark conglomerate is a daunting task, but not insurmountable.

If I had to chose a loss, I would rather it be a blowout by the end of the first half. No crushing disappointment due to missed field goals, dropped passes or blow coverages...just a straight up arse whooping . That way I can go back to the bar and drink until I forget I was there.
