Secondly, no Sizzle against the Colts hurts. But, something that Kruger does a great job of is playing coverage. Dallas Clark will be fairly quiet next weekend if we have Kruger on him.

Fly - did missing this weeks game do something to your football IQ?

I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas Clark sets the record for receptions and yardage against us on Sunday.
Neither would I. The team's best is to put Webb on him in my opinion. Ray doesn't have the legs to stay with people in pass coverage anymore. I don't know about Gooden or Ellerbe in pass coverage and we've seen what Dawan Landry does in man-coverage situations. At least Webb could stay with him and he has shown he's willing to tackle anyone.

I dont think it was dirty, I just think Quinn had no idea what he was doing. And Id say Suggs had a lot to do with the play,he was right in front of Carr.

When you are raised playing football and have thrown many picks in the past, I'm pretty sure he knew he was making a play on Suggs knees.

I hope we watch film from the Pats game, because they shut Clark down... granted Wayne, Garcon and Collie burned them, but at least Clark didn't, right?

The Patriots could at least afford to shut down Clark. I don't believe we have the luxury. If we shut down Clark like the Pats did, we would have a rain parade with Wayne & Garcon.

Our Best bet is try and get pressure. It's our only bet.

The Pats isn't great. They have a good safety(like the Ravens) and average corners.

The key to stopping Clark is simply jamming him at the line which throws off his timing with Manning. That gives the front four and blitzers more time to get to him.

Wayne scares me but if Washington lets Garcon eat him alive, he needs to hit the bench.

Is Ngata going to be back for the Indy game? Can we play a 3-4 with Webb on Clark? :)
Ngata should be back.

I don't know about Webb on Clark as many are suggesting. Webb is undersized (5'10") and a rookie going against a bigger (6'3") Veteran.

I understand that Webb would probably be most physical with Clark. But one-on-one, Clark will win the battle every time.

It wasn't a dirty hit at all. It was just unfortunate he hit Suggs' multi-million dollar knee.

Suggs turned up field ready to block for Landry, Quinn tried to go through Suggs, so he or someone else could get to Landry, the ball carrier.

If it was Flacco, I would have wanted him to show the same instincts as Quinn just did.

He shouldn't get fined, and doesn't deserve to be.

The Good News out of this is that we know Paul Kruger is going to do everything he has with his opportunity and not take plays off like Suggs did.

I saw this on NFL network today. Very sorry to hear about an injured player. Hope he recovers fast!

Agent says sizzle may have season ending surgery. So much for the injury not being "catastrophic" coach.

Either way, we won't have Suggs for the Colts and at least the Home Steelers game.... I am hoping against hope that he'll at least be back for the 2nd Steelers game, but if we're out of the playoff hunt by then, Suggs should just rest up for next season.

"Terrell Suggs (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, as expected.
It's still unclear exactly how long Suggs will be out after taking a cheap shot from Brady Quinn Monday night. Beat writer Aaron Wilson expects Suggs to miss at least 2-3 weeks, which is a huge blow to the Ravens defense. Suggs is valuable in both pass rush and outside run defense."

Cheap shots are "dirty", no?

It certainly was a cheap shot and that is dirty! I think it was more out of frustration than anything else but still you don't hit a guy like that. Hope a huge fine is in the works.

The league protect the QB's (Brady knee) from them hits but the QB's allowed to do it....I guess other postions don't get that protections.
Add Brady Quinn name to the list of players on our Hit list.

Personally I hope that it's only 2-3 weeks and nothing more than that; the whole play was an UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT.

As far as those that think Quinn intentionally took a cheap shot at Suggs you are sorely mistaken. Quinn has been nothing but "politically correct" in his short NFL career and would never have made that tackle if he'd of known it would have come across as dirty.

The rule that a QB can tackle like this but you can't even touch the QB is BS and lame but as far as it goes hate the rule and not the QB.

There is something to be said for putting rookie DBs on good receivers. They have the speed of youth, which can mask mistakes due to lack of experience.

I'll be happy If I hear Cribbs is out for the season. That hit was complete BS
