we need to have a "Suggs Rule" for next season! this quinn cat needs to be fined at least $30,000 for that cheep shot!
He played for Notre Dame, I can't say I'm surprised he plays dirty. There was absolutely no point to that hit and no excuse for it.

a signed up on this website ..... not because I'm a raven's fan but because I wanted to say that Brady Quinn is a **** bag of epic proportions. I hope Ray Lewis breaks him in half!!

Brady Quinn is a joke. He can barely throw it past the line of scrimmage. He makes Kyle Orton look like Peyton Manning. The guy did his best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression during the offseason and he still throws lame duck passes 5 yards out of bounds on the rare occation he attempts anything downfield.

The game last night might have been boring to the average fan but I absolutely loved watching Quinn make a fool of himself. I know I'm mean. :obliviongate:

HUH?
A Ravens fan would get that. Don't worry I'm not taking a shot at Peyton Manning.

It has to do with Kyle Ortons inability to throw the ball down the field. The Ravens came up with the so called "blueprint" to beating the Broncos when we played them a few weeks ago. After watching the game Monday night its clear to me that Quinn is even more inept at challenging a defense vertically than Orton. Thus he makes Orton look like Peyton Manning.

Yes difference but I hate this rule. Lastnights call on Flacco was junk. The guy was trying to get off the block and went for the tackle against Flacco, thus was giving the flag. The NFL needs to rewrite this rule, it's BS.
It's not like we took advantage of that call, so IMO that call was no big deal. If we had taken that drive and got points, that's one thing, but our offense spent the whole evening playing like it was garbage time. Man we can't do this crap against the Colts or Steelers. We just played to our opponents level last night. In other words, a very low level lol.

Yeah Quinn is such a terrible QB. Even on the short passes, he kept missing and missing. And how many tipped passes were there? At least 6. Both of the INTS, Ray had 2 I think, Suggs had one and on the very next play, Johnson had one. Our D played awesome but if Suggs' injury is even a little bit severe, well that would not be good

To prove that the media also coddles QBs .....On SI's website they lead in with Ray Lewis' quote about Quinn's cheap shot on Suggs but they post a photo of Quinn in the fetal position with Ray standing over him.

HOW ABOUT A PICTURE OF QUINN TAKING OUT SUGGS' KNEES?????

QB's are assumed to be tough when they take cheap shots on unsuspecting players. Remember Bret Favre's cheap shot on Eugene Wilson of the Texans?

He did get called for a personal foul, but yeah, I'm not happy about Quinn taking out our $63 million player (even though he did absolutely nothing yet again)
Did you watch the game lol, i saw Suggs in the backfield a lot before he got injured.

I heard sizzle is out for a while. Any validity to this? I believe it was said on 98 Rock.

Knee sprain. The awful pop. We'll be lucky if we see him for the last 1-2 games of the season. On the upside, Ngata's back next week!

Suggs has been weak all season. He got his deal and now he'll count his money from the sidelines. What a waste of cap space. Hopefully Kruger is hungry like the old T-Sizzle. You guys remember the Suggs that played with a disastrous shoulder injury all of last season?

Lewis is still hungry, why isn't Suggs?

Suggs played one game with a shoulder injury in the AFC championship game. And to say Suggs isn't hungry is absurd. I'm sure he got injured on purpose since he got paid already. I heard he asked Quinn to blow out his knee and put his career in danger before the game because doesnt want to play anymore

I'm sorry about the misinformation on the shoulder injury, I was remembering a guy who has never missed a game. That is a fact. You can't tell me he's never been hurt, the guy sucked it up like a man and came to play.

This year he's been really quiet. Ray Lewis isn't quiet, Ray is making plays. What was the difference between this year and all the other years.......Suggs got a ton of money.

As upset as I am with the result, I've had the chance to revisit the play from a number of angles via DVR. Im not at all defending Brady, quite the opposite actually, but one could honestly make a case that Quinn was attempting to tackle Carr, and wound up hitting Suggs in the process. The direction of his head was pointed toward Carr as he lowered his helmet, just moments before Suggs stepped in front of him, which makes me question the immorality of his intentions. Once again, I still believe that his decision was obviously reckless. Im just stating that there may be another legitimate side to the story.

New Bengal fan here. (I think we can get along, we all hate the Steelers afterall) Anyways, I would just like to comment on this hit. I believe that this was completely crap. Quinn was mad that not all pretty boys can win (Brady) and took out his frustration low on Suggs. Not only did Suggs not have the ball, but he hit him lower than they are taught. Apology, fine, or penalty, I understand that it happened, but Suggs' career could never be the same after an injury like this.

Not saying that it will happen, but we have all seen little injuries like this that can stick with a player throughout their career. Considering how well Quinn is playing, this could have been Quinn's "best" play of his career, and it may have affected the future career of Suggs. I like Cribbs and feel bad about his injury, but I am hoping that the Bengals show Quinn whats up in a couple of weeks and lay him out.

At first I thought Quinn was trying to tackle the DB that interecepted his pass with a 'block tackle" but after looking at it again on tape, it clearly shows Quinn was not even near the DB with his block tackle. Quinn will get his, what goes around comes around.
