Well I think they have earned respect this year. Are the playoff material? Well time will tell but as of right now I am not so sure about that. I am just proud of their rebound from last year. As a fan, the only season game that has me worried is SD. Yes I know many will say MN is a loss for us. I disagree. We always play NFC very tough and our new found defense will give the old man some problems.

Hey man, you have every right to be celebrating. Don't get me wrong. I may not be sold but like the great Bill Parcells says, "You ARE what your record says you ARE." You guys are 7-2 and undefeated in the tough AFCN.

Doubt we counld get by Indy. Our defense is stingy but he has to many weapons and he reads defenses extremely well.

They might not have to face both of those teams in the playoffs, but they will probably have to face one. Personally I'm beginning to wonder the Super Bowl champs are in the NFC this year.

i thought that with manning at the helm, the colts were somewhere like 7-7 in the post season? I'll have to look later, but yeah, he is suprisingly bad once he gets to the post season, he was bad in 06 with 3TDs and 7 INTs in the playoffs/superbowl

Last time I checked P. Manning had a 7-8 record in the postseason. If that was outdated, then last year would make 7-9. But I think it's 7-8.

I wouldn't give up on the Steelers chances of winning this division yet. I think we are the only tough team left in there schedule, and they own us. The Bengals still have the Viking and Chargers.

I don't recall anyone in the Bengals organization or any fans I have seen that has "Declared" the Superbowl. The closest to that is an interview with chad where he was ask how it felt to sweep the Steelers. His reply "You guys are the ones talking about the sweep. All I am focused on is TRYING to get my self and my team to Miami". So I don't think anyone is talking superbowl yet as a reality. I don't even think we can talk about AFCN champs yet. To much football to play yet.

Tell you what, I must have put on about 20lbs since the beginning of the season, after all the crow I'm eating about the Bengals.

A lot of people picked them as their sleeper this season, but I was convinced they were going to do nothing more than win 6 or 7 games, maybe a big upset or two along the way, then that would be that.

But their corners have stepped up big time, and are probably the biggest reason why their defense has turned things around. Without their defense playing the way it is, they'd be just another team.

So congrats to Cincy for their success so far this season. But you're still the Bungholes in my eyes :lol2:
