QBs:
1) Roethlesburger
2) Palmer
3) Flacco
4) Whoever Mangini decides to put in at Cleveland

I don't know, I think I'd take Flacco over Palmer. Yeah, I know once upon a time Palmer passed for all of those yards and he was a pro-bowler back in the day, but right now Flacco has more yards, a higher ypa, same number of ints (though 2 fewer tds), a higher completion percentage, and he doesn't have the kind of receivers that the Bengals do. He's also played one less game, so he'll probably have at least as many tds as Palmer by tonight as well as the other things that I mentioned.

The knock on Flacco was always "he has a great defense and run game" well we can't say that anymore.

All in all, I'd take Flacco if for no other reason than the fact that he's younger and doesn't have a history of injuries.

I can not tell you how classy your post is. I have always enjoyed the mutual respect between our teams. Not like Pittsburgh who respects no one and plays dirty. I can assure you that most Bengals fans I know have great respect for the Ravens and their fans. You guys have a great shot to sweep the steelers. Get Ben rattled with a few hits in the mouth from Ray Ray and your home free. They are way over rated. Don't count your team out of the division chase just yet! Seven games to go and any given Sunday ..........

Hats off to the Bengals. They have proven they are the best of the North this year. If they make it to the super bowl, I could see myself pulling for them. If the Ravens can't represent the north, I prefer to see the Bengals. That all said, I still hope somehow the Ravens can mount a serious run for the playoff.

I am surprised to say that I agree: I'd also cheer for Cincinnati if they make the SuperBowl [but, of course, I'd rather see the Ravens make it]. Excluding the couple of Steelers fans here, other Steelers fans have made me want their team to lose. Maybe because the Bengals' fans haven't had much to be obnoxious about in the past, but I appreciate their attitude. Confident and thrilled with their team's success, but not so cocky - of course, that could change, but right now, I'm happy for them. Still want to make the playoffs and beat them, but I'm happy for them now.

I won't deny that I've talked plenty of trash on the Bengals in the past, but this season was eye-opening, to say the least. And chances are, it's not a fluke of a season because the quality of football that Cincinnati has played is much better than, say, the gimmicky Dolphins of 2008 or the flash-in-the-pan Browns of 2007. It's solid, fundamental football.

The two things that the Bengals were missing were heart and chemistry. Now that they've found both, they're a dangerous squad until injury or luck goes against them. That, or they just plain get beat by a better team on any given day. But until then, the Bengals have my respect.

For now.

I mean, obviously, if they go the way of the '07 Browns, then that's a different story entirely -- but I doubt that'll be the case.

Yup, have to agree that the Bengals are the best in the Div right now - beating the Ravens and Steelers once might be considered luck but twice just shows that they are simply playing better football and balanced football...

Big game for us tonight, I am pretty sure of the win and I know the competition is weak but if we can play well and take sort out a few things we can go into the Colts game with some swagger!!

Sure maybe we will see the Bengals back in the play offs :0)

I don't get how you can rank Mason higher than Holmes and Ward. I'd take any of them over Mason any day.

i love our Ravens! sure...we are 4-4 and presently 3rd in our division....but...i don't feel that we need to be thrown under the bus right now! i am really hoping that our getting swept by the bengals 2x this season has been a HUGE eye-opener for our guys. i believe that they are ready to get after it for the remainder of the season.

LET'S GO RAVENS!!!!!

Mason was amazing last year, I'll never forget how he played! - TBH right now if I was asked I would take Holmes and Ward BUT thats only because Mason might be in his last season with us :(

Carson Palmer also played the Steelers twice....lets compare stats after the end of the season and see how they match up. I'm not knocking on Flacco but he still has a lot to prove.

Lol, well you could also argue that Palmer has had the benefit of playing the nonexistant Ravens pass D.
