Bengals-Steelers - Week 10

70 posts in this topic

So far, the Bengals are moving the ball efficiently but Carson Palmer has made some dangerous throws. The missed FG by Shayne Graham probably hurts a lot more later.

The Bengals defense is playing about as aggressively as they did against our Ravens, if not moreso. They're doing a nice job in coverage, but they're not keeping Ben Roethlisberger contained as much as they should (then again, who can contain Big Ben?)

How useless is Jeff Reed for tackling, is he fat, or is he just that slow and lazy?

Im sure he's told to just slow the runner down.

well if your 5 feet from the guy why not attempt to tackle him, thatd slow him down more than running to him and away from him lol.

This looks to be a very competitive game. It's definitly turing out as a defensive game. It will come down to the final minute, and we know the Bengals are the master of winning in the final minute. To the person who said Troy got hurt again, what happened and how did he get hurt?

They said he tweaked his knee again. I haven't heard anything else.

I remember at the start of the 2008 season. We thought we had a horrible O-Line. The idea of Troy Smith starting made a lot of sense, since we thought we needed a scrambler.

But then it turns out our offensive line was good.

OLines can form quickly.

I guess Andre Smith got into good shape and is playing the game today. The Bengals are really putting something together. It took a while for Marvin Lewis to build this team but they finally have something. Man, is the Madden curse hitting Troy or what, hurt his knee week 1 of the season, and now he has tweaked the same knee he hurt in week 1. Hopefully Troy will be able to play the rest of the season and that he don't hit the IR. Still can't believe Larry Fitzgerald hasn't been hit with the curse this season.

Is it just me, or do the refs just give out interference flags whenever a receiver motions for one? I've seen them given out maybe 80% of the time when a receiver wants one. And the flags come kinda LATE, too.

A little ridiculous, much?

Man, Ryan Clark really likes to go for those highlight reel hits, doesn't he?

(Still bitter over the hit in the AFC Title game...)

Highlight reel that should have been a flag.

It's nodded up at 9 to 9. It would be 12 to 9 if Graham had made the FG he missed. That FG is definitly going to come back and hurt them by the end of the game.
