You guys wanna know the one and only thing I hate about the internet? Online tough guys!!!! I cant read user comments, play call of duty or madden online without someone getting racist or threating to hurt someone. I would never talk down to someone that lives 500 miles away, I would feel like a immature punk if I did. I got a rule, dont say anything online that you wouldnt say to someone face to face. If you dont know what I'm talking about then your most likely a online tough guy.

But in all seriousness, I know what you mean. Happens all the time when I play Madden, then when I shut them up by coming back to win, they quit the game before the final whistle. And in Call of Duty, people brag about how good they are, when they're ranked wayyyyy higher than I am -- which, after a week of the newest game being out, means they've done nothing but play the game all week long.

Right, I play the game for fun, no money involved so why cheat , get mad and glitch. That y I only play madden online the first week before all the cheats come out

Heres a weird one for you, let me know if this kind of thing has happened to you before. I played a guy online in Madden10 who was the Steelers and playing with Polamalu he was actually really good and took away his side of the field. I end up winning the game 14-0 scoring a TD off a pick late in the 4th. I sack him 5 times, pick him off once and held him to 68 total yards of offense. With most games that I play that are close i send a simple good game message to the guy im playing. He sends me a message back saying "what you scared girl". What the heck does that even mean? After I beat you, and you quite literally dont do a thing on offense.

I'm pretty much the same way.. but I'm usually skeptical on buying sports games... cause they come out every year... so they become outdated pretty quickly

Yep, I played a guy that scored 21 point in the first quarter on the same play. I figured out how to stop it but still he only ran that play. So after I won he told me I was cheating cuz I stopped it. If I cant stop one play then I shouldnt be playing

First loss I took online in Madden 10, I was playing a guy who had the Patriots and ran the SAME defensive play out of the 46 base. Annoyed me all game long because I was TRYING to play the game honest and not scramble, but I eventually had no choice. Either way, finally found a weak spot and tied the game.

He won because of a BS tipped pass returned for a TD, and it was a low-scoring game. I shut the man down on offense, and all he would do is try to throw long bombs to Randy Moss or WR screen to Wes Welker out of the shotgun.

Annoys me when players run the exact same plays on both sides of the ball. Sure, I should be able to stop them, but I'd like to actually play people who play the game the way it's meant to be played, not some little kid who likes scrambling out of the pocket or rolling out and hitting a receiver all the way on the other side of the field.

I'm a hardcore crap-talker, but its all in good fun to me. I was playing one dude, he was playing the Steelers and I of course was the Ravens. First play from scrimmage, I blitzed Landry, hit Mendenhall in the backfield, swarmed him, and apparently Mendenhall is strong enough to break out of a 5 man tackle and run 74 yards for a 6 spot. The dude got really ****y, bragging how I can't stop the run, so I respond with a 5 and a half min TD drive. His next possession, he tries the same dive play, this time Landry rocked him, forced the fumble and Suggs picked it up and returned it for 6. Then I was accused of cheating, and the dude quit. It really frustrates me when people quit after stuff like that.

Unfortunately that crap talk has been going on since online gaming was even invented. I remember years ago I'd get slammed in chat while playing Black and White, and then when I turned around and started beating the snot out of their creatures with mine and burned their village down, they'd just punk out and leave.

In a way, I love playing the trash-talkers, because I usually come from behind to beat them or at least keep the game closer than they expect. They're too busy talking trash to focus on the task at-hand. That, and the mute button helps, too.

I teamed up with a dude from Canada in COD4 (and will again w/ CODMW2) and we used to bash everyone...but it was all in good fun & spirits. People get all bent out of shape when you own them.

This is funny: I actually had a cowboy fan screaming at me because I scored on him twice using the same play. I was like, "Dude, if you're going to bring the corner blitz I'm going to throw it that way." Idiot. Then he scored ONCE and proceeded to do an end zone dance. The next time I broke away I waited at the goal-line until his guy got there.....then I dove in and rolled. The very next thing I saw was "Player xyz's controller has been disconnected." lmao. That dude must've blown a gasket.

This one guy I played on Madden 09 played as the Deadskins and kept trying to bomb it to Moss. It worked at first until I started double-teaming him. And his defense only stopped me once or twice. After the game, he claimed he was just testing out some plays. More like testing out one play.

Oh yea, and the best was a Patriots fan wanted to play me (that's always a treat for a Steelers' fan), so we get into the game and I hear him talk.....he can't be older than 7 or 8. I was like, "well, I'm not going to stomp on a little kid" and was juuuuuust about to back out when he started calling me (slur about my sexual orientation) amongst other things. AND HE KEPT DOING IT! lol Needless-to-say, I crushed him. He didn't care though, he called me names the whole time (I unlpugged my head set so Ana and I could listen to him through the speakers) and then gave up shortly after the half. THAT was funny.

I used to play GTA IV online in Free Mode. The room I'm in everybody is talking about having a truce so they can drive fast cars around. So I call up one guy who is still shooting people and ask if he wants to team up. He agrees and we take a military chopper and start wrecking everybody's stuff. This one kid (had to be 11 or 12) starting whining quite a bit so we made sure to focus our efforts squarely on killing him every serveral times. Everyone else got pissed and started chasing us down. This lead to lots of trash talking and some epic handicapped shootouts (some of which we actually won)

ok i got one used to play final fantasy 11 online and i was in a party with my then wife.and this guy kept making rude remarks towards her,dude's profile said he lived in same city as we did,so we started playing him.I started getting "mad",she kept telling me to calm down.then she started sending him tell messages.saying she really liked what he was saying and all that.dude was tough guying me and all when i was defending her the whole time laughing my ****** off.My wife kept playing with him and made reference to the fact he lived in the same city in tell form.She asked where did he live,dude gave her exact address,which to come out was like 5 minutes away.
i said i gotta go afk for a few to calm down the rest of the party was freaking out.I go to the dudes house and knock on his door(wound up being a teenage kid)and told him who i was he literrally pissed his pants with fear,saying im sorry im sorry it was all a joke.I laughed my ****** off,then told his momma why i was their when she came to see what the commotion was.i could here the yelling he got almost half a block away....

Exactly! I never play people who pick teams with running qbs just for that reason. And i hate when its like 4th and 6 from in field goal range and they do a fake field goal pass or something. Which is why I always go with field goal safe zone or whatever its called.
