Post From The Pressbox?

Just wondering is the post from the pressbox thing still happening this season?

It's being discussed by the New Media staff, but seeing as how we're already midway through the season, only so many home games left up for grabs.

I hope they bring it back next season. Even though I'm not old enough yet its still really cool.

I know I speak for myself when I say that I really want to see it back.

I think it's a great way of getting the fans more active on here in a quality way, and it's a great experience for the lucky winner. We had preliminary talks about it in the stretch run towards the final home games, but nothing ever came about because there was no decision as to the purpose for the contest (i.e., Did we want to use it to attract new members? Did we want to use it to promote quality discussion with current members only? Would we open it up to past nominees that didn't win? Would we have enough quality members eligible to nominate? etc.)

We'll talk about it again in a few months before the start of next season, but I may have a few ideas to bring up for when we have our big summer meeting at Ravens HQ. If the fan interest is there, we definitely want to capitalize and give you guys what you want.

Believe me when I say it's on the agenda for the next meeting we have at The Castle -- I made a point of it.

Not just this promotion, but other possible promotions as well. We've got a few ideas brewing.
