Week 10 – Baltimore Ravens At Cleveland Browns

Even though the first half was absolutely boring, it was still a pretty good game to be at, at least from where my seats were. Got a great view of the Ravens running out onto the field. Wish Rice had scored that touchdown on my side of the field though, oh well. Would have been nice to get a good view of back to back touchdowns. I had that pick six called too, although I had Ed Reed pulling it in, oh well.

Although I will say that Brown fans (although I know they hate the Ravens, but c'mon) were pretty classless to the Raven fans in attendance. As I walked from the Parking Garage to the Stadium (about a ten minute walk), I had at least ten Brown fans call me an a**hole, or proceed to tell me the Ravens suck (with some more profanity). Which is cool, it easy to shrug off drunks in Dog masks.

During the game, however, I was sitting in front of a row with about 4 Raven fans, who were being "harassed" by Brown fans 3 rows in front of me. It was hilarious, because the Browns were telling us how the Ravens are horrible because we're 4-4... while they're 1-7. It was so hard not to laugh, although the guys behind me were laughing. I will give the Browns fan beside me props though. He was pretty cool and friendly, after Landry's pick six, he goes "I'm about to be a Ravens fan like this guy here". I won't even mention what I had heard both when Nakamura was laying on the field on the opening kick off and when Suggs was walking back to the locker room after Quinn's low block. Granted, it's only a select few fans who made the tasteless comments, but in my opinion, no matter who the team is, or how much you hate the team, you should never cheer for someone getting injured. Finally, it's been how long since Ray's legal trouble, and people still feel the need to yell "You stabbed him, you murderer" when he's walking back to the locker room. It's pathetic. Rant over.

You're happy with that effort? You think we're ready for the 9-0 Colts?

The NFL is a week to week league. I am happy with a win always, because any team can win on any given sunday. Would we be more ready for the colts if we would have won 50-0? No, because next week is a new week. Were we "ready" against the bengals after we turned in our best performance of the year against the broncos? No, because the next week is a new week. The Ravens will be amped to play the undefeated colts at home.

I hope you're right, because we haven't been in the past.

I know, a win's a win...But this has to be the worst win I have seen. I think the Browns lost the game far more than we won it.

Yeah I had an experience like that and worse when me and the Crew went to Cleveland three years ago.

Which is the reason why I hate that city and most of its people with a passion. I will never step foot in the city of Cleveland again unless I absolutely have to.

I know a win is a win, but our offense needs to step up big time next week. How this offense was ever the best in the AFC boggles my mind.
