Anyone else looking forward to it.. this game looks sick... honestly the only thing I don't like about it is that within the last 3 weeks 3 amazing games have hit the shelves..

This game does look good but I gotta get the 1st one again and finish it first.I had it then the disc just wouldn't work but it was after 90 days(I have a problem of getting a few games at a time so some games don't get played.)

It looks cool, but I'm a little wary. The first one was supposed to be the greatest things since sliced bread, but it turned out to be very repetitive.

I never played the first one, but the second looks pretty badass ill be picking it up tuesday

first one has a good story line, but gets rather repetitive, if you're up for it its pretty cheap now.. something like 14.99 to 19.99 used

The first one was fun, I beat it and then replayed it. It's nice replaying it cause your abilities carry over to starting over. So the counters you learn thru the game, you start off with when you restart the game. But the Second one looks SO awesome. Once I get a Console I'll be getting it, but I gotta wait till tax time first.

I'd love to buy it, but I'm going to hold off since I just bought Modern Warfare 2. I might buy it the weekend after thanksgiving.

so far.... its pretty awesome.... they fixed the repetitiveness as far as I can tell for the most part.... sick new weapons... and an awesome new storyline.... I don't think I'm too far into it... but there is alot of side stuff to do... and in this one it actually is useful to do the stuff...

it starts off kind of slow.... but it picks up pretty quickly

def worth a rent if you don't wanna buy it or wanna try it first

Do you think that it would be difficult to understand if you've never played the first one?

I'd recommend playing the first one. The second one starts off where the first one left. Remember that Assassin's Creed actually takes place in present time. Actually it has a good story line and is worth playing at least once.

In all the first one wasn't that repetitive. You don't have to do the side quests or collect the flags in the areas. You can go straight through the story and finish rather quickly.

Going back to the AC II, so far I'm impressed. I've only played a little bit of it. They've added a lot of new features and a great story line that continues.

I would recommend it, granted its not necessary but there will be a few spots where you are going to be wondering "mm.. okay?" and like corvus said.... its rather short... you can rush through it and be done...

not to mention you could probably get it rather cheap used from gamestop now that 1) its been 2 years.. and 2) ACII came out

I like the fact that there is a monetary system in this one. I've been playing on a friends 360 and it's fierce combat. It's uber violent and nice touches. There are a few things that seemed better on the first one, but all in all I think it's way better than the original

My only problem with this game is the beginning, I understand it is there to teach you the basics but 2-3 hours of running back and forth collecting feathers/letters? I don't understand how they thought that would be fun. If I had the option to start off 3 hours in where the fun begins and the storyline is actually there I would have enjoyed this game a lot better but it does pick up eventually and gradually increases the fun.

yeah that was something I really wasn't too fond of either, but its also a major part of the story.... and how to kind of make you feel personally involved with what happens

I thought the first few hours of the game were important to the story line, I'm about half way thru from what I can tell. I've got 4 of the 6 Assassin tombs, It's a great game. They did good on improving on things that needed to be improved on while keeping the key elements of the game that made the original game what it was

I'm about at the same place as you. Right now I really enjoy playing this game. Lots to do and you can always go and just do assassin contracts or other events besides the following the story.

I'm really enjoying Assassin's Creed II. Plenty of variety, lots of things to do.

Are there any more games like this. I know this is a newer concept. But I enjoy games like this where you can be undercover for the most part and not get chased and firing weapons every two seconds. And doesn't include the living dead?

idk yet, but the sabatouer looks like it could be like it not 100% sure though...

GTAIV is kind of like it

prototype .... but that includes zombies.... or maybe a rapidly mutating virus (warning, gory as heck, but fun as hell imo[get it used if you are interested])

what I would suggest is look games up on IGN or Gamestop.com (whenever you have time) then go and buy the game used (from gamestop)

The last one was the same missions and things over and over. Is it any different?
[/quote]
yes, the game is the same and different

same innovation that the first game had and built upon that

different in the fact that there is a ton of variety in the missions

I played a little bit of the first one and I didn't like it. But I've started this game and I've gotten hooked.

I've been playing for a good while now, and there seems to be plenty of variety in this one. You can continue on with missions or work on side missions. If you get really bored, then you do my favorite find ViewPoints.

This game is almost like the latest Prince of Persia. But without an incubus trying to suck your soul.
