Monday Night - What Do You Want to See From the Ravens?

108 posts in this topic

This game should have been in Baltimore in my opinion. Wear the All Black! or black tops. Whats going on with the browns fan protest?

I want to see a Ravens loss. (Well SOMEONE had to say it..)

Honestly I'm as die-hard as it gets when it comes to being a Browns fan but I know right now they're playing awful and structurally they're a mess. I can accept a loss as long as there's some effort; the losses (for the most part) this year have been pathetic and looked so terrible it seemed we picked 22 random guys to be on our team. An example being.. oh I don't know, the Browns/Ravens game from earlier this year?

The Browns losing 20-13 or 27-14 or whatever is a hell of a lot better than 34-3 with zero effort.

I almost feel sorry for you guys, but not sorry enough for you to win my friend.

This needs to be another dominating win. The way I see it, the Ravens have a 4 and 4 schedule. Four teams they are expected to beat (Browns, Bears, Loins and Raiders) and four teams that will be really tough (Steelersx2, Packers, Colts). They must win the expected win games and steal 2 or better 3 of the tough games. As much as I love the purple, it's hard for me to say they won't make the playoffs, but I don't see it happening this year.

with the ravens "potential" it should be a romp ober the browns but how many penalties and how much pressure is put on their QB will be what will either be our difference in the outcome. If the QB has anythime at all our corners will just be exploited as usual. We need to keep the pressure on the QB and we will be fine. The only way we lose at all in any game is the QB pressure and penalties because of our lack of corners coverage. Thats been the story all season for us. We could easily be a top team if we even had just one decent corner. Oh well, dont get me wrong i like our defense but we dropped a bundle on suggs to keep pressure on the QB when we might have been better of trying to score a couple of good corners.

We will win monday but that should be a given. We are a quality team who lacks any corners and a field goal kicker.

Who would have thought at this point i would be missing CMac and Stover. Would have added atleast 2 wins to our record this year no doubt. We are killing Ed Reed. He cannot keep track of who needs more help deep because both sides need it.

Amen. I have faith the players won't overlook the Brownies(we as fans can ) but it's the other keys that I'm not sure we'll see.

Gonna be a fun game for sure, gonna wear my #52 jersey all day long and night. :)
If we prepare well and don't underestimate the Browns, we win.

Don't let the game get close enough that a penalty could cost us a win...cause we all know that IF it CAN, it WILL.

Here's some interesting statistics about the Browns:

The Cleveland Browns are 1-13 over their past 14 games, dating back a full calendar year to a Nov. 17, 2008 win over Buffalo. (It's a sad commentary on the state of the Bills that the Browns, 0-15 against the rest of the league since last November, are 2-0 against Buffalo ... but that's a story for another day.)

Cleveland's scoring over the past 14 games:

5 offensive touchdowns
1 defensive touchdown
2 special teams touchdowns
18 field goals
109 points
7.79 PPG

Hopefully this game teaches ESPN that we deseved a home MNF game a lot more than the Browns. I know we're 4-4 but I still don't understand what ESPN was thinking when they gave Browns a home MNF game.

Its only Saturday Night, Plenty of time to get Gruden and the MNF gang to Baltimore for a MNF game at the Bank. I mean c'mon, there giving out free tickets and people still wont take them. Atmosphere is much more ideal for MNF in Baltimore, for all 72 thousand of us.

Main thing i wanna see is TOP. we need to win that and win it by alot. We have gone too pass happy and we need 5+ minute drives once we get a lead whether its 3 or 20 points.
Secondly we need to stop the penalties, its gotten embarassing how much we give up and its not like they are bad calls. So players, coaches and fans stop complaining reload and play and for us watch the game
And finally someone needs to step up on defense and make some plays. It can be Ed Reed, Webb, JJ, Suggs, Gregg, anyone! Im thinking Ngata wont get much time and i expect Mckinney to show his talent and is the perfect future replacement to Gregg

I wanna see that 3-4 D that we embarassed Denver with
I agree! They need to stick with the 3-4 (Period!). Even though we wont gain any respect for winning in primetime vs the Browns, A win is a win! I'll take it!

I feel the same way. I hope we come out and play Raven football. Make them look silly like last time we met in Baltimore

And unconvincing and mistake-riddled performance would be bad news, if we can't dominate a pourous team then we certainly can't handle Indianapolis or Pittsburgh.

How bout a shutout, Landry finaly covering somebody, nakamura and zibbie get some serious reps, webb start, Mcgahee and Mclain get involved A LOT more along with D-Will, and a overall performance for the ages, im talkin one so good that we can rest Flacco and the first team offense by halftime!!! thats what i want to see.

Well i'm back. After last week's game, I was so disgusted that I didn't want to think, hear, or talk about the Ravens. But that was last week, and it's in the past. Right now what's important is that the Ravens are 4-4, and they will have to go on a run, and score a few upsets along the way to be in playoff contention.

If the Ravens were 6-2 right now, I'd say that this COULD be a let down game, but with the position that the Ravens are in I doubt it right now. This is going to be just as ugly as the first game.

What I'd like to see tomarrow night? A Win. From here on out it doesn't matter how they do it, they HAVE to win and find ways to win tough games.

I want to see a big win on national TV, even if it is the Browns. A guy at work said what a slam dunk this is for us, but I warned him that the Ravens have a way of making it close, which I hope doesn't happen.
