Ok. Now I understand.

With both of them standing, they have a better chance of rushing a person in a stance and having to react. Plus with Ngata, Kelly, Edwards/Pryce in the middle, then the run really can't go through the middle.

Now it makes a little more sense LOL.
Not so much of a better position to rush the Qb but gives the element of surprise. Suggs in a handed stance the O-line are able to account for him in pass blocking. When you have 4 guys potentially able to surprise the passer vs. 3 guys you have a great chance of success. The down side is you need bigger LineBackers to eat blocks for other to make a play on the run.

I just want to see a win. This is a classic example of a trap game. And Cleveland is dangerous. They knocked off the Giants at home on MNF last year. They can def. take us down.

Focus - play hard from the moment the game starts.
Discipline - eliminate penalties, make tackles.
Trust - trust the player beside you to do his job
Aggression - both lines playing with aggression
Sense - playing intelligently and not assuming we can walk all over Cleveland.
Biltzing - lets get after the flipping quarterback!
Coverage - oh please, can we get this right?

Give us a complete effort, Ravens. Let's win 41-0. Everyone needs to come to play!!!!
Totally agree with all your points. Our team needs to wake up this monday and play like Ravens.

The Browns are 1-7, and beat the Bills 6-3.
Brady Quinn is starting.
They are 28th in Points Allowed.
Tney are 30th in Points Scored.
They are 31st in Yards Gained.
They are 32nd in Yards Allowed.

I think we need to say, "Almost Anything is possible..." :)

Actually, my joke was as a Steelers fan I would like to see them lose. ..., but I don't see that happening. Could be wrong, but I don't see it.

Hey Ravens: Ray Rice it and you'll be fine.

Fixed.

Some people are speculating that this will be a tougher game than it looks on paper. The Browns have nothing to lose, they'll be on primetime and with the way the Ravens are playing, anything could happen.

So what do you want to see from the Ravens next Monday? Gameplan suggestions, personnel changes, let's discuss...

I personally want to see Lardarius Webb start at corner. Cleveland's top receiver is rookie Mohamed Massaquoi. Monday's game will be the perfect game for the team to really see what they have in Webb. He's flashed great potential but a full-game's workload could help him and give him confidence for the coming weeks where the team will face a lot of pass-happy offense that like to use their slot receivers.
The Browns are not that good...If it was on Sunday I probably wouldn't watch it..Since it is a Monday night game their is going to be nothing else on...

Besides a win, I'd like to see the drive and focus we saw in the pre-season and the first two or three games of the regular season.

The Ravens need to be making their opponents cry to gain yards, and I think this is a defense that can pull that off if they work together. A team of standard players that work together can do way better than a team of a couple of stars. That's basic team sports.

Should someone tell them?

Even if we win 50-0 it wouldn't satisfy me. I mean c'mon its the Browns.
pretty much, my opinion about this team cant go up based on playing the Browns, but it CAN GO DOWN if they lose
What I'm looking for is a big game from Rice & Heap for my fantasy team

I'll give you Braylon Edwards. I think he had a pretty big game that day but K2 did jack.

What a great time to get some of the young talent in there...especially the secondary.

I would like to see Kruger sub in for LB and perhaps Zibby/Nak in the secondary for a bit rotating for Reed/Landry. Try and let Ed rest that neck some, and give these guys some snaps. We will never know until we try them out in a game situation, right? It would not bode well if a starter gets hurt during the Colts or Steelers game only to have a guy step in who has not seen action all year. I am not speaking of Webb, because we have seen him in action.

That and for the love of everything holy make a tackle. Missed tackles happen to the best of players, but c'mon man. Wrap up, bring them down and regain that defensive look we need for the upcoming games.

I want to see:

Aggressive defensive play calling
3-4
Suggs earn his paycheck
Flacco throw for at least 2 td's
Webb get a lot of reps
Kruger go on the field
Reed stop caring about a ball strip and make a tackle
Us go 5-4

I want to see ferocious, inspired defense. Without the flags somehow.

I want to see crisp offensive precision and quick decisionmaking by Flacco.

I want to see Mark Clayton step up and be a leader.

Do I ask too much? :D

I want to see a Ravens loss. (Well SOMEONE had to say it..)

Honestly I'm as die-hard as it gets when it comes to being a Browns fan but I know right now they're playing awful and structurally they're a mess. I can accept a loss as long as there's some effort; the losses (for the most part) this year have been pathetic and looked so terrible it seemed we picked 22 random guys to be on our team. An example being.. oh I don't know, the Browns/Ravens game from earlier this year?

The Browns losing 20-13 or 27-14 or whatever is a hell of a lot better than 34-3 with zero effort.

The Ravens need to stomp the Browns. Anything short of that will be a major disappointment and point towards a rough remainder of the season.

Personally, I'd like to see a healthy diet of feeding Ray Rice the ball repeatedly with Flacco making intermediate play action throws to Washington + Heap and outs/curls to the WRs with the occasional check down to Rice. Joe has looked extremely shaky trying to go long down the field for a while now. They need to reestablish his rhythm and confidence with high % passes over the middle before they consider going deep again.

Can anyone tell me if Ray Lewis is playing this monday or not? Because I've read he missed two pratices. Was he sick? Hoepfully not & he will be playing this monday. I really hope they still take Cleveland Browns seriously. Good luck Ravens!!

He didn't practice because of a foot injury. But he will play. Probably giving the vet a little rest since it is a Monday nighter.

But in other news. Chris Carr has not practiced due to an illness. Perhaps the Bubonic Plague?

I WANT TO SEE :

1.) My mug posted all over everyone's TV sets while I'm sitting behind the Ravens bench.

2.) Rice run the soles off his sneakers.

3.) McGahee & McClain help with grounding and pounding the Browns D-Line.

4.) More Todd Heap.

5.) More Kelly Washington.

6.) Ed Reed get at least one pick.

7.) Cam pull a trick play out of his magic hat.

8.) Flacco pick apart the Browns secondary.

9.) A solid defensive effort paired with time of possession on offense.

10.) The Ravens only have to face one opponent, the Browns; not the Zebras.

11.) No costly penalties (should #10 become a reality).

12.) Soft-shoe Steve benched. (Come get me out of the stands, I'll kick.)

...It's like the 12 Days Of Christmas; all leading up to a Ravens victory.
