K everyone, pretty self explanatory question. Please select which QB/WR you think is the best in the league and tell us why!

1. Manning/Wayne
2. Brady/Moss
3. Brees/Colston
4. Rivers/Jackson
5. Palmer/Stinko
6. Shaub/Johnson
7. Warner/Fitz
8. Warner/Boldin (thats ridiculous when one team has two tandems that get legit consideration :GRR: )
9. Flacco/Rice (seriously!)
10. Other

Even though Andre Johnson is my favorite player in the league, I went with Rivers to Jackson. Rivers was already one of the best QBs in the league coming into this year but now V-Jax is becoming a consistent monster. He already has the same amount of TDs as he had last year and truly looks unstoppable.

Manning/Wayne......Manning/anyone pretty much
nah, I think its just Manning/Wayne and Manning/Clark. Clark is only 50yds behind Wayne. The two of them make up 60% of mannings yards.

You have Flacco/Rice but not Roethlisberger/Ward.

This pole is a farce.

This is the first year they've really put league-leading numbers as a tandem.

Well this is a Ravens forum. But more importantly this thread is under Ravens talk. If he didn't throw a Ravens tandem in there it would get moved by you know who.

To me, it boils down to Manning/Wayne and Brady/Moss. I'm just not sure which to choose.

No tandem can absolutely dominate you like Brady and Moss can. There's a good reason why records were set and NE went 16-0 the year Moss joins the team.

On the other hand, I doubt that there's another tandem as consistently excellent, and performs as well at crunch time (during the regular season, anyway) as Manning/Wayne.

decisions, decisions...

Strictly politics, man...we're on a Ravens board.

For what it's worth, I do think they rank first among "Other".

Nah, i dont think you can even count them as a tandem. Rice does 80% of the work on his receptions.

I won't say Brees because he is excellent at spreading the ball to anyone on the field. That's why I think he is the best QB in the NFL right now. Besides, he doesnt beg for roughing the passer calls like Manning and Brady.

I think Brady/Welker is more dangerous that Brady Moss....IMHO.
Definitely. Welker is a FA next year. I think any team would LOVE to have him.

Brady to Welker isn't quite as destructive as Brady to Moss. It's certainly frustrating, watching the nickel either peek at Brady whiles Welker gets open or simply get beat but a corner could play perfect coverage and still give up a long bomb down the field to Moss.

Moss/Welker are about even. Randy has more yards and 1 more touchdown yet Welker was out for 2 games...I would take Wes over Moss personally.

Peyton Manning to Reggie Wayne.

Brady to Moss is good but I think Manning to Wayne is even better. Often Brady will put the ball up for Moss and Randy will use his size to go up and get it.

Reggie Wayne isn't physically a brilliant receiver, but that combination has unrivalled timing and precision on their connections.

And we have to deal with them in a few weeks -_- don't worry guys, our lockdown corners will shut out Manning to Wayne! :P

Manning and Wayne also. Wayne is always open and Manning always hits him. I almost picked Brady/ Moss, he Moss is always double covered and doesn't always have huge games.

Putting all hate aside this is easy IMO...

You're a better person than I am. Hades will freeze and thaw before I'd pick Manning or Brady for anything other than "QB most wanted to give a one-way trip to the Moon".

I voted Brees/Colston, but it's really just Brees/any eligible receiver.
