Unable To Link Pics From Br.com

Why is it forbidden to link BR.com images? Seems rather silly if you ask me.

It's probably for copyright reasons. The photos on the website are licensed through freelance photographers that work closely with the team. They're not the same as the ones for Associated Press or the Baltimore Sun.

It's a good point. I know that the photos that BR.com uses are absolutely beautiful. I know what is involved to get these kinds of shots, which is why I wanted to use it. I just find it silly that I can't use it ON BR.com. Apparently the photographers can't take a good compliment...

Maybe that's something I'll learn in the future.

I can tell you I am an admin on another board and I have had photogs come after me for someone using one of their pics as a sigs. It was from the [i]Sun's[/i] site.

Sorry for jumping in this thread late, but it is related. Any way to see the pictures in their original size? The pictures we have now are only about 400px x 400px.
