In a word, no....

The only way I can have a positive outlook on the season is to look at our 2 losses other than cincy. They were highly competetive games that came down to the last second. Maybe cincy just has our number this year. If we can take 2 against Pitt and beat indy we can still make the playoffs.

We're not beating the Steelers twice and we never beat Indy. However, if we lose to Pitt only once, and enough of the other AFC teams lose their last games, we might have a chance.

Edit: This is assuming that we win all of the other games, which is not a given by any means.

yes i do, if we can go ll-5. That means beating the Colts at home and beating the steelers at least once.
The other games i think we can pull out.
But lets not ahead of ourselves, one game at a time.

i look at it like this last yr was a fluke, new coaches, rookie qb there no way we should have been in the play offs but we got lucky defence saved the day and joe just managed the games so last yr was a gift. now this yr joe needs to do more than manage the game and he's falling short, defence isn't winning for us so it is what t is a good team not a great team. i love my ravens and won't give up on them any given sunday and as soon as they beat the steelers once you all will be back talking play offs. 10-6 might get you a wildcard so we have time before you jump ship.growing pains live with it.

thats our chances right there. I have never see our Defense get toyed with and disrespected by a team like i did tonight....how many 4th downs did they convert? Our Offense couldnt get anything going, and when we did get something going, "Im better than Graham Gano" Misses a 38 yarder......I dont know what else to say. Im so disappointed

One last thing....we played 3-4 against Denver and gave em hell last weekend...this week we went right back to Mattisons 4-3 and got beat every which way. Basic blitzes, patchy coverage areas. it was all soo horrible. We should go back to and stick with the 3-4. Im done venting!

There's this guy in Indianapolis, his team regularly spanks us, not by ten points or by a last second td, but by twenty to thirty points year after year. He also has a brother in New York whose team ran all over us last year and won by about the same margin.

I have a hard time believing in Inconsistency. Atleast the Skins,Lions,Browns,Bucs,Rams,Raiders and Bucs fans can say that their teams are consistent at something. I dont see a Playoff appearance happening at all with the Timid/unsure Head Coach,Offensive/Defensive Coordinators and Corners we have.

no way. after the game we played today are you kidding me. we went right back to the boring 4-3. like someone else said we used 3-4 last week and blew out the best team in football last week. i understand mattison is trying to make a name for himself but if it aint broke dont fix it. we still got pitt 2x and we gotta play the colts. if we keep using the 4-3 its gonna be goose egg-3. we are not built for 4-3.

Dont be rediculous. Our offense is still good enough to destroy Detroits defense and our defense is still good enough to destroy Jamarcus Russell. We are not THAT bad. We just are not THAT good. Average is what they call it.

We will end the season at 8-8. With wins over, Cle, Oak, Det, and maybe GB on the road or atleast CHI at home.
