Ngata Listed Out For The Game

It's not huge, but it may affect how much Benson runs on us.

I see a lot more blitzes by Mattison to make up for his loss.

Next man up. We'll miss him a bit but it will be interesting to see how we adapt. I've got a good feeling about this game.

I wont be one to say we wont miss him. This is a huge blow to the run D. As we all know we have plenty of depth on this D. It will make it more interesting but I dont think it is going to stop a mad Ray Ray and company from getting a little pay back.

Haloti is one of the best in the league at his position, so yeah he'll be missed. However, the Ravens are probably the deepest team in the League at Dline, so i think we should be ok. I think you'll probably see a mixture of Mckinney and Bannan dependeing on down and distance they should hold up fine! don't worry.

what???? did anyone see this coming? i thought his injury was nothing???

He went out for warmups this morning...went up against Bryan Mattison to test it and decided he couldn't put weight on it well enough and that he wasn't 100%.
What does this mean? Well, for Ravens fans, the biggest thing you should notice is Ngata’s name on that list. He was out on the field around 9:45 am today to test his injured ankle. Haloti worked against offensive lineman Bryan Mattison to put weight on it, but apparently he didn’t feel like he could be 100 percent.
It was always a possibility. He didn't practice all week. And usually if you don't practice on Friday, you don't play on Sunday.

What was surprising was all the talk from Ngata. Saying he's an "8 or 9" or that "I will play on Sunday"

It made it sound like the injury wasn't very much.

But I hear after testing it in warmups today, he was limping.

Well, that stinks.

Carson is killer against us even when our secondary is good, let alone with the Foxworth/Washington combo, and with Benson having already proved that he can run on us, Ngata being out exacerbates the situation.

I don't think we're in good shape. At all.

Because we have so much to think positively about.

Our secondary is absolutely atrocious, and Benson killed us even when Ngata was in and we were at home.
