9-0? What the hell??? Seriously, your optimism is starting to piss me off.
Haha, you need to get your facts strait.
I said do you think we were gonna go 9-0 for the rest of the season, meaning: we were most likely not going to.

If me saying our season isnt over is being optomistic, then you need to go to www.dictionary.com and check up the definition. And thats good to no i piss you off, I couldnt care less, cuz all you do is sit here and trash talk your own team.

I just cant figure this team out. I will refuse to admit that the bengals are a better team than the Ravens, though their records would suggest that.

The Ravens are not "lame"

No one on the coaching staff should be fired...

"We Suck...." hardly

"unprepared..."

For a minute I thought this was a Bengals forum. Not ready to throw this team under the bus just yet..
We've got room for improvement,sure...but has anyone considered that we might just be playing a team
that's pretty good?

I'll never give up on a team until mathematically eliminated. We are still a couple of losses away from that.
So we're going undefeated for the rest of the season are we? With this DC? With the special teams personnel? The kicker? With the way the Bengals, Steelers, Colts, Houston, JAX, etc etc are playing (better than us)?

Right.

I'm ALL for supporting this team, but not out of blind faith.

I want you to be right, but I don't think it's going to happen.

you guys are hilarious, this game marks the halfway point to the season, we a are sitting on a .500 record, and you guys are counting us out of the season and praying for a early draft pick. You have got to be kidding me. Were we gonna go 9-0 for the rest of the season? We are 2 games back in the AFC North, and are just now hitting the prime of divisional play. If you guys think that are season is over, you deserve to root for another team.
Actually, if we loose to Pittsburgh or Indy or the GULP, Browns we are almost eliminated.

Well, apparently the Ravens are who everyone outside of Baltimore thought they were. All the Ravens can do is learn from this and hopefully keep up the morale and play much better then they did today. Hats off to the Bengals, and all I can say is that every squirrel gets a nut and this year the Bengals are in sole possession of said nut. I don't think they're anywhere near as good as people think they are even though we got thrashed today. The Ravens certainly didn't play like the Ravens and if they did the game would have been much tighter. But yea, all props to the Cats, and I hope they all choke on a hairball during their post game celebration.

I wish I was that optimistic. This team is collapsing right before our eyes.

Now this proves last week was a fluke, and Denver's mediocre Offense played into our hands...Back to the drawing board, though I think we should roll Cleveland.

So Flacco is about 1 td to five interceptions this year against Cincy, and pretty bad against Pittsburgh too. When someone outside of our division figures him out, we're in trouble.

Penalties....AGAIN!

Pooched field goals...AGAIN!

Unbelievable....congrats Bengals fans....your boys outclassed us the entire way.

Zach, I'm a fan who's not giving up on the rest of the season but it's hard to hold on to faith with game after game of the same BS.

We are clearly the more talented team. But its the same old Ravens. We cant get out of our own way. We can **** about the refs all we want but alot of the calls they made against us were legit, I wish they'd make those same calls vs the other team but still we make way to many mistakes. In the last two seasons, I can only point to two losses where the other team beat us without help from us. Most of the time we hurt ourselves.

Alright...here's the problem we have: to have any chance of getting into the playoffs we will probably have to beat the Steelers twice this year to have any chance. Not impossible, but it would have been nice if we had chose an easier way of doing it. :)

I would agree we beat ourselves today and the Bengals are reaping the benefits.

This game was an embarrassment to our team. We lost this game from the get go. We were dominated in all phases of the game. Our team let us down, offense, defense and special teams. They made it very difficult for us to have pride in our team after this game. We have our work cut out for us. Right now we are aiming at a wild card spot and can only afford to lose one more game. How do we allow the Bengals to sweep us. That's just unacceptable! We made no adjustments until the 4th quarter. What does that tell you? We were out-coached and out-played. Mattison can take his "no bad play calls" and put it where the sun doesn't shine.

If we only lose to Pitt once and Indy, and win every single of the other games, we might make it, but we'd have to do a Cardinalesque postseason turnaround. (And we know how that worked out in the end XD)

That is if the steelers and bengals win out the rest of their games. Since the bengals and steelers still have 8 games, they are most likely gonna lose at least a couple of them. If we somehow squeak out a better record than either the bengals or steelers, the division games won't matter. Needless to say it is going to be hard to win the divison, but the Ravens always seem to flirt with the wildcard anyways.

Agreed. I'm sitting here thinking the same thing. It just seems like we kind of laid down against them. I feel we definately should have beat them in BMore, and it's not like they did anything great today. I mean they came out strong, but we just looked flat all day. Our defense settled down and held them in check from the second quarter on. I know alot of people are on Mattison, but I didn't care for our offensive game plan today either. I think Cameron deserves some of the blame.
