The Baltimore Ravens are looking for some revenge and progress in the AFC North when they play at the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, Nov. 8. Game time at Paul Brown Stadium is 1 p.m. ET. The Ravens take a 4-3 record into the contest, while the Bengals, who are coming off their bye weekend, are 5-2.
The Ravens and Bengals squared off 4 weeks ago (10/11) in Baltimore with Cincinnati coming from behind to win, 17-14. A 20-yard Carson Palmer-to-Andre Caldwell TD pass with 22 seconds left in the game provided the winning margin. That score trumped Baltimore’s go-ahead, 4th-quarter, 48-yard TD pass from QB Joe Flacco to RB Ray Rice that gave the Ravens a 14-10 lead. Baltimore’s other TD came when S Ed Reed stole a Palmer pass and raced 52 yards to the end zone in the 1st quarter. Bengals RB Cedric Benson rushed for 120 yards (27 carries) to become the 1st back to rush for 100 yards against the Ravens in 40 games.
The Ravens trail both the Bengals and Steelers, who own 5-2 records, by 1 game in the most competitive AFC North. Cleveland trails the pack with a 1-7 mark.

Is this place safe to talk about the game without Bengals fans finding it?

Our backs are against the wall yet again, the Ravens need to win. And they will.

i just get the feeling that we come out and absolutely dominate this game. Now that we have a defense to keep up with our offense we should kill them. Stop Benson and we win this one easily.

I just hope Ngata is ready as even though he hasnt taken that next step yet that we thought he would as a passrusher he has been down right dominant against the run this season.

STATS predictions
Flacco - 240 yards
Rice - 120 yards rushing, 50 yards recieving
Clayton - 130 yards, TD
Johnson - 2 sacks FF
Ngata - 2 sacks

Not that it means much, but it did predict us to win against the Donkeys last week.

Morning folks.Game day it's on tv here yay!.........lets hope last years visit to cincy repeats itself we won 34-3.I hope last weeks defense shows up I want them with the ball first because I think last week was major in how we set the tone on the very first play.Harbs don't feed Jarrett or Suggs this morning tell them they can eat Kitty for lunch!
Flacco jersey on ....check!
Ravens Hat on........check!
Kids decked out in their garb.......check!
come to think of it our record reflects something we win everytime my kids are home with me....so maybe I need to make sure these guys are with me every gameday.
Time to take the :th_happypills:
Remember guys anyone not wearing the same colored jersey that has the ball gets knocked out!!!!!!

I get the feeling you guys are taking the Bengals too lightly. I mean they did beat us in our house, and Carson Palmer is no Kyle Orton, and is 7-3 against us. I though Big Ben owned us.

Don't get me wrong, I am predicting a Ravens win. Hopefully Ravens don't take them as lightly as they did last time.

I've been saying all week that this would be a second half game and i still beleive it. I think the Ravens start fast, but the Bengals keep things close enough to not let things get out of control. I see this being a close 10 point game at halftime, like 17-7, but much like they've done all season, the Ravens will own the 2nd half.

The Bengals had a great gameplan the last time, and they showed a lot of emotion after Mrs Zimmer's passing.

I think Cam will have a much better game plan to allow Flacco to take advantage of that 30th ranked pass defense. I actually see Clayton having a huge game, much like last year vs the Bengals secondary.

There is no way imo Benson gets loose on this Ravens defense today. I don't think he gets more then 70 yards today. This will be the biggest test for the Ravens defense imo, because after last weeks performance everyone is questioning if the Ravens defense is back, or was that just a case of having 2 weeks to perpare for an opponent.

Foxworth had a pretty good game vs Marshall last week as well as Washington on Royal. I think our secondary play really physical and tackled well.

Look for Webb and Carr to set the Ravens offense up with good field position all game.

I see tight 1st half, but the Ravens pull away in the 2nd half. 34-17 Ravens plant their flag among the top of the AFC North.

It would be great to start the game off with a first play sack again. That really set the tone for the rest of the game. We also need to scratch Walker again.

It's all right, Bannan will step up. He's best when it comest to stopping running backs between the tackle. Benson is that type of runner. Luckily we aren't playing a shifty RB, then Ngata's agility and speed would be missed.

Let's not forget that Bannan played all 16 games last year.
