Black Flag?

This wouldn't do anything.

The current challenge flags(the red ones) can only be used for supposedly clear-cut things like the spot of the ball, loss of control, etc.

It sounds like you want this black flag to be allowed for judgement calls like pass interference or holding. Well, because these are judgement calls... why would the officials change their minds?

The fact is, when these officials are cheating the Ravens... sometimes they actually believe that what they are calling is correct. Yes, I know it's ridiculous... but they still honestly believe that the hit on Ocho by Ray was dirty.

And their support for why they think it was a dirty hit was because "Ray didn't put up much of an argument."

Sorry, but the fact is... the Ravens will continue to be cheated by the officials. Black flag would just be another thing for us fans to get mad about when they STILL get the call wrong after replay, just like they often do with the red flags.

I bet Henry Rollins would jump at bein a ref if he were given some BLACK FLAGs to throw...

Haha, yeah. They could blast "Rise Above" from the speakers and have a mosh pit just run across the field and slam into eachother.

Methinks not too many get the Black Flag reference these days.

I'd rather see a "Pink Flag" for one fan of the team opposing the Patriots. Once a game he gets to overrule an obligatory "Brady got brushed" 15 yard penalty by the refs.

I think Bart Scott had the best penalty flag rule change.

If a penalty is so obviously wrong and you wish to officially dispute it, just pick up the yellow flag and toss it into the stands.

It is a very quick and easy way to settle the matter, and the Ref will no longer have a flag to throw for the remainder of the game.

This has a certain degree of merit. Maybe the next time we play Brady and Co. at home, the fans should all get pink flags or towels to wave when the refs make ticky-tack or otherwise wimpy calls.
