13 posts in this topic

Joe called into ESPN 2's First Take this am around 10:30. First Take begins reairing at noon I believe. so I assume his part should reair around 12:30 for anyone who missed it and wants to watch.

They asked him about the game and he basically said the usual "They were good; we were better" stuff. He talked about how he visited a classroom and every child wore a Ravens jersey except or one boy who was gutsy enough to wear a Romo jersey. Joe said he thought that was cool, and that it shows what kind of kid he is.

He also talked about how his brothers make fun of everything he does in football so that's why he tries to make his touchdown celebrations as low key as possible.

Well I tell you what. Each week I see Joe getting a little more rowdy when he puts one in the end zone. I mean its not the normal type of rowdy that we all know, its Joes type of rowdy. I little fist pump and back to the sidelines LMAO he is awesomeness!

Yeah, I can't really see Joe sprinting to the End Zone and tackling Mason after a TD catch a la Brett Favre.

I saw Joe pump his chest once last sunday, I believe it was after the TD pass to Mason, but I could be wrong. Did anyone else see this on TV?

I didn't see it in the game, but I saw it when 1 Winning Drive replayed the touchdown.

Joe's really coming out of his shell. Someday he might high five his teammates.

Haha yeah he is emerging from that shell, slowly. So many Bengals fans commented on how "fake" he was when he was trying to pump up the team compared to Palmer. Palmer has been with those guys for years now. Its not easy to come in to a defense oriented team and be a spoken leader on the offense, especially at the quarterback position. Give it time, he will be here for a long while anyways.

He's not fake; he's just boring.
