I Thought This Was An Offensive-Minded League?

7 posts in this topic

Yes, it is still an offensive leagues and the points are getting out of hand, but look at the INT leaders so far. 7 games into the season, Darren Sharper and Jairus Byrd already have SEVEN! Then when you look at the saints remaining schedule and the fact that Sharper's next INT for a TD will tie both Rod woodson's all time record and the record for INT TDs in a season as well as both of them having a legit shot at the INTs in a season record. AMAZING.

oh crap, scratch that... I hope sharper doesnt get any more picks this season. He's only 42 yds from topping Ed Reed's single season INT return yards record.

It really sucks about Reed's injury. If only he was well enough to play another 5 or 6 years, he'd break every record.

props to Sharper, he's been doing this for so long now he deserves all the records he is likely to break. Reed if you are reading this its time for a couple of 100+ INT's. I'll meet you tommorow morning and we can begin training :P

Its more because of the widening gap between bad teams and good teams.

well Buffalo aint that hot, they just happened to draft a stud DB apparently. Seriously though, sharper gets to face the likes of Marc Bulger, Jason Campbell, Josh Freeman twice, and Jake "4 INTs a game" Delhomme twice...

I think I'll be more surprised if he DOESNT get 15 INTs this year.
