Why Do People Think Ray And Jamal Are Like Brothers?

40 posts in this topic

?

lol

Hah, you're right...they both have very different mentalities

Ray lewis is the more violent, loud kind of guy and J Lewis is the quiet person. Ray gives the team a swagger and Jamal, again, is quiet. Ray lewis is a high-impact player, Jamal is a low-impact player. ray lewis is actually good, jamal is diminishing greatly

i think jermaine is more like ray. they have Fun playing

Ive never really seen jermaine Lewis play before, but i'e heard that he really was an enjoyable person. Jamal is really boring, as i see from the media conversations, and he doesnt look like he's enjoying his career much.

Ray Lewis is the official big brother of the NFL. He has taken so many playes under his wing on the Ravens team and on other teams, Jamal Lewis included. When J Lew played in Baltimore Ray always spoke very highly of him. The only other reason I can think of is because they have the same last name but Lewis isnt even Ray's real last name. He changed it from something else because he didnt want his biological father's last name.

I think its because his father left him when he was born or something...otherwise I think his last name wouldve been Lattimore I think...

Ok, my question is if Jamal goes to the hall of fame, does it count as a raven, or brown?

Raven, unfortunately...2,000 yard season, the most of his career, and 295 vs the browns, the second most in a game. Set franchise records in virtually all rushing stats for the Ravens...yep, his career would be mostly remembered as a Raven. But its unlikely that he will ever be thought of going to the hall.

Yeah, he would definitly go as a Raven because he won his ring here. If he can be solid, just to buff his numbers he may have a chance. He has been in the league for 7 years but he has really only played for 6. Remember the year before he ran for 2000, he missed the entire season. Based on 6 season's his rushing totals are impressive. He is definitly not a first ballot guy but he may be one of those guys that sneak in.

i know that, i was just wondering. so its basically wherever he had his best game? cause the ravens have 0 HOFs

Rod Woodson or Shanon Sharpe would be the first players that played for the Ravens to go but neither would go in as a Raven. Well, Maybe Rod would because he was on that record setting defense and won a ring but he is proud of his Steeler history. Shannon is more proud of being a Bronco. The first one that we can lay claim to will be Ogden and then Lewis. Reed may be in to but I would like to get him a ring to solidify his case.

Nah, I dont think that he's good enough. Definately not compariable enough in the caliber of Jonathan Ogden, Johnny Unitas, people like those. he's talented, just not good enough. also, although this doesnt really matter, but he's only got like 1 or 2 pro bowl appearances. Not enough really

These are my predictions(not in order):

Ray Lewis, Jon Og, Ed Reed, Chris McAllister, Terrel Suggs, Kelly Gregg, (depends) Dawan Laundry, Willis McGahee (definately a raven, he hates the bills), (hopefully) Yamon Figurs

AND THE LAST, BUT NOT LEAST..........

STEVE MCNAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, thats true. I think if he hadnt been jipped of the MVP, the year he ran for 2000 yards his chances would be better. But up against guys like L.T. and Alexander, who doesnt look so good these days, his chances are slim.

lmao, like the "jk" at the end.

My predictions:

Ray Lew, JO, C-Mac, Maybe Willis, Maybe Gregg, Ed Reed

-Not sure of Dawan, he has to still prove himself of a dynamic playmaker. I believe in him, unfortunately the critics do not

-sory if i seem like an [butt], its not spelled "laundry", its spelled Landry lol

-Yamon, he might be those up-down type players, not sure of him

Lewis, Ogden, Reed definitly should go and be first ballot guys. McAlister deserves to go and I think he will but it will take him a few tries. Suggs has the talent and a lot of years left to play, so I wont judge that one. I dont think Gregg will get in. Landry, if he is anything like Reed he will be in. McGahee has to stay healthy, a few probowls, and a few awards wont hurt. Figurs, IDK about that one. McNair, may go but he isnt a first ballot guy and he may go as a Titan. The thing that would push Steve over the top is a ring. McGahee and Reed to. And it would help McAlister's case to have another one.

Willis's chances might also slim due to LT and others...he has to play to his potential to gain a good reputation and earn a trip or 2 to the probowl and a ring to solidify himself, and 15000 career yards shouldnt hurt either

Yeah thats true but Willis is still young. He still has plenty of time to leave his mark. And if our future Oline is anywhere near as good as I think it will be and we can get anything that looks like a passing attack going, oh man. Willis will be unstoppable.

I have great hopes for our future offense and our "future quarterback"

Me to. If Boller can work on his accuracy under pressure. I would love for him to be that guy.

We need our line to get off their butts, and work out during the offseason.

LOL. I think maybe its time for some of the old guys to move on. Let the younger faster guys take over.

let's not all abandone the Vet's just yet.....they've been here before, they've been on the losing track, they have the knowledge and know fully, what it takes to get back to where we want to be at....the Younger players/ Rookie Players, are young, some are very un-experienced, and All of which need pracitce to further their Progress and excel in this league on this team.....get this team back to where it should be.

Dude Cleveland sacked Boller, like 5 times. Line backers and safety's are just to fast for some of these old guys. Its sad because had they been able to pick up the blitz and protect him, there would have been a lot of big plays. He didnt have time to set his feet so the ball would miss the wr. I thought McGahee and Smith did a good job helping out with pass protection.

all i was saying is that Noone in this Baltimore Fan base should, down right think that its ALL the veterans fault, granted, some of it maybe thus far in the season BUT i think we've ALL noticed that the WHOLE TEAM is struggling right now and is struggling to find its identity. its not for lack of effort by any type of means. the 2007 NFL season is turning out to be one of those season 's to forget about and/or learn from our mistakes and build upon them. and go from that point on....you can only move forward, noone can move backward.
