Ed Reed!

12 posts in this topic

Today Ed Reed does it again by delivering a big hit on rookie Denver RB Knowshawn Moreno welcoming him to M&T Bank and the NFL with a fumble. Ed Reed can and will still deliver those big hits. It was good to see Ed Reed drop the BOOM :lolpoof: on someone today along with the rest of our defense. :ICONATOR_01040da29c18a4eed76047

I must say I was very surprised at some of the hits Reeeeeeeeeeeeeed was delivering today, but again, I'm not because it's Ed Reed we're talking about... What about the punt that literally sailed right between his arms?!!?! He and our D have their swagger back for sure.

Ed was flying around, delivering some really hard knocks. I was scared after a couple of them. I would hate to see him get injured. I would rather him not take so many risks but I know that is the only speed he knows how to play. No doubt he welcomed NO Show to the house today.

I think people forget that Ed Reed was a strong safety for a while and would destroy running backs.

Let's hope....but not gonna say that after just one good performance. Again, I sure hope so though.

The thought of us having even just a top 10 defense along with this offense is down right scary!!

Even though we won the first 3 games of the year we know our defense looked like crap. Now they look swaggalicious and we will see next week if they are back for good or it was just a flash in the pan. Im thinking they are back.

Reed used to destroy everyone back in the 02-05 days, HBs, TEs over the middle, WRs. People talk about how good Polamalu is and how he can do it all, but for 4 seasons Reed was just as good a tackler, with the same explosive hits, AND was the ball hawk he is today. Without a doubt before Reeds move to FS and his neck injury, he was the most complete safety Ive ever seen play.

I think it was just about the players playing together and playing their positions and not being out of position trying to make a big play.

Reed did seem to take it easy on some of his past tackles due to his neck injury.
