God Of War III

Chilling here on the forum while my almost 3 gig demo for GOW III is downloading.Pre-ordered the game today
Getting the Ultimate Edition (100 bucks ouch!),so I plan on paying on it every payday till then.
The Ultimate Edition comes in a Pandora's Box case ,comes with the game,art book(I like those kinds of things),a combat arena with 7 challenges.a full length documentary movie,soundtrack for all 3 games,a metal cd inspired by the game(no word who is on it yet)
This is one of my favorite franchises and I am so pumped ,can't wait for the demo lol.also later this month sony is re-releasing God of War 1 and 2 on blue ray,both are remastered with their own set of tropies.That'll hold me over til 3 comes out!!!!
Are their any other GOW fans here?

Sadly, I haven't played any of the games at length -- nothing more than just picking up the controller at Gamestop a couple of times for both games. I regret that, especially since both games came to my attention so late into the PS2's life cycle and I was ready to move onto the PS3 by the time GOW II came out.

I plan on getting the re-mastered bundled re-release of the first two games before I decide to get GOW III -- though, what I've seen of GOW III already has me almost sold.

ok it took almost an hour 2 dl the demo(maybe not that much lol idk forgot to look at time when i started) it over 2700 mblong but this demo is crazy .GOW just keeps getting more brutal,definitly gonna be fun when it comes out.

I love God of War. I was hesitant about the ultimate edition until you told me what was in it. Seems worth it to me imo.

Another game to look into if you like hack n slash will be Dante's Inferno. Some people say it's a GoW spin off, but look at FPS games. I mean they are very similar in a lot of way.

Loved the first two games, but don't have a PS3. =\ Franny never bothered to try and convince me to get one either, so blame him IMO. I know I am.

If you have a PS3 this game will be a MUST PICKUP. BTW Playstation 3's are pretty cheap nowadays at $299, it's well worth it, it is a handy little machine.

Okay I just got the demo for this game from buying District 9 on blu-ray. All I have to say is holy crap! Everything is improved. I love the different weapon (Cestus). I'm excited about this game!

I got the collection on the PS3 and are playing the games for the first time. I am really enjoying it. I also got GoW 3's demo which is also amazing.

I loved GoW 1,and 2 was even better,I'm trying to decide wether I should just buy the game or get the special edition.

Thats crappy man...Those game are classics and the #rd installment is going to be one of the best game ever up there with MW2 i think personally....I bought the combo pack online because i kinda forgot what they were like and im in love with it all over again if you ever get the urge for a good game my opinion is to give that a try
