Debating To Get An Xbox 360 (Again)

I don't know what I should do. I'm a freshman, and I really hate playing Madden on my iPod Touch. I let the Colts score 76 points in the first quarter, and still won. Should I get a 360, or no? I can get a full year of live for only $25 too, so I'm not sure what I should do. You tell me.

Also, is the keyboard adapter set worth getting? It's only $15 for me.

Well if you're getting the 360 for a deal then buy it,but if you're looking for a better system go buy a PS3.

Well, I had one for a year, and it never broke, but I wanted to sell it because I had no money. Now I have enough for it, but I don't know if I should. I don't like PS3 because no one has a headset online, and there barely [i]is[/i] anyone online.

That's a misnomer. I've yet to have trouble finding people to play online in any of my games, especially the more popular titles. The only reason why people don't have headsets online as frequenly is because Sony doesn't really market an "official" headset -- the PS3 works with [i]any[/i] Bluetooth-compatible headset. You can get one for cheap online.

Ive had my 360 for 3 years almost, no problems ever. Also had a PS3 but only bought Madden 08 for it then sold it lol. They did drop the price on PS3 to $299 so whatever fits your wallet better.

Get a New 360. It will have the new Revised motherboard (Jasper) its rock solid. I have had my 360 for 4 years, not one problem ever. I also have a new arcade 360 with the Jasper. Buy a Arcade, its no different than a pro or Elite, just a hard drive. If you buy a Arcade, then a 120GB harddrive separately, it comes out CHEAPER than a Xbox Elite... Xbox has the bigger games library anyway.

I have a 360, but its the third one. Ive sent it in for repair twice, the second time they sent a new one though. I would go with the ps3 honestly. Also last week I went to xbox.com to cancel my xbox live renewal, and there was no way to do it. The next day I call xbox and told the guy I was cancelling and the connection dies. I call back and the same thing happens. Finally, I got through and got it cancel after being a little rude. Xbox and video games in general are starting to go way over the top. With Madden paying for accelarators plus online franchise is crazy and greedy.

You can't beat the value of getting a "next-gen" gaming system AND a Blu-Ray player for only $299+tax.. not to mention all of the other amenities such as the ability to buy classic PS1 games, movies, etc. all via the Playstation Network (online).

Well, living in Delaware, I don't pay sales tax. And if I were to order off of Amazon, because I'm an Amazon Prime subscriber, I get free two-day shipping or $3.99 for one-day/overnight shipping, and free release-date delivery.

The Xbox 360 controller is a copy of the PS3 controller, they just moved the Dpad so it would not be a complete copy.

The PS3 controller is basically a wireless version of the PS2 controller, which was mapped from the original DualShock controller for the PS1 that eventually became standard for the system. So technically, the 360 copied off of Sony's controller since the DualShock has been around since 1997.

The design of the DualShock and its subsequent models won awards for technological achievement -- something the 360 controller has yet to do.

true, didn't think about that, just saw 360 copied PS3 and something in my head went off saying there is a timeline inconsistancy... I should have realized, have being an owner of a PS2 myself
