I agree - there has been some boundary defining, but nothing over the top. If that makes some people feel uncomfortable, well, I'm really not sorry because everyone here has generally stayed within the borders, even if they've come darn close to the edges.

I'm pretty sure no one has been saying, "Our team rocks, your team sucks!" It's mostly been in the area of, "OK guys, you need to take your smack and go." That's not bad at all...

So much to talk about. Defense played lights out, Orton had no time to throw. I loved the agression shown by the whole unit, both Mattison and the players. Jarret Johnson is a beast! And now I see why you guys were praising Ellerbe so much, he played well. Lardarius Webb 95 yd kick return for TD loved it! The rookie made a play, he should play more on D cuz he was a stud even b4 that play. Webb reminds me so much of Ed Reed cuz he is hungry for the ball and always wants to make a play. Offense played really well in the 2nd half and Kelley Washington showed up BIG. The running game impressed me because it got going in the 4th quarter. McClain had 2 nice runs, Rice was busy all day and when we HAD to run the ball well to take time off the clock, we did just that.

BTW Ed Reed jacked up Knowshown Moreno, Reed played outstanding also. Man I'm really impressed. Bengals and Steelers better watch out!!

I could care less about a little smack talk. I don't engage in it with other fans, but maybe I'll talk a little smack with my purple brethren.
And although I personally find it amusing that someone has the balls to call my family hobos from the comfort of their computer in their mother's basement, somewhere you draw the line in decency.

Very simple, there are two rules for talking smack:

1) Make it interesting/amusing- i.e. worth reading.
2) Don't make it or take it personal.

If you can't do those things, then do us all a favor and STFU.

In conclusion, thanks for playing, but much like your team, Denver fans just took a big drop in my personal power rankings.

I just left the Broncos site trying to find my good friend Bronco_Hyde. No luck though. I joined there boards just in hopes of finding him. I feel like congratulating him on some of his finer points he posted here.

Fly, that remark he made to you was probably the one that put me over my limit. I knew from the start he was only here to start trouble. He knows he has to "eat crow" but I dont expect or wish him to ever return.

I meant it seemed like the Ravens fans weren't being that bad - or instigating the problems - for the most part. Mind you, we were defining the boundaries for the ponies, but not being vicious about the win except to say, "You got your answer about who is better... now back off!"

What I mean is that I think the Ravens fans have conducted themselves fine and those people playing the, "I'm embarrassed of this thread" card are overreacting, in my opinion it seems like they're speaking to our fan base, not the Broncos fans. The purple people have acted fine, all things considered.

In all fairness, considering how strict we usually are, the fact that we've let this thread stand (for now) speaks volumes of the situation leading up to the thread. I mean, we can't show you guys, but the stuff that we've had to trash, even while y'all were sleeping...ridiculous, man.

It's less about talking trash (because we're definitely wary of the borderline smack that's been exchanged here) and more about just a sense of vindication in addition to the relief the final score provided.

But, once this thread is closed (and it [i]will be[/i] soon), let's all go back to treating each game with class. Though, we all know it won't be the last time our board gets invaded... (I wish it was)

Alright, I think we've all gotten our fill. We won't allow something like this every week, but if you were here to see how bad things were leading up to this game, you'd understand.
